A lot of people on here I think make staying up harder than it is, we obviously haven’t got a European places challenging squad but the right manager who could make us effective has plenty to work with, you look at our strengths and weaknesses we have flair and pace on the wings we have a very good ball player in winks but defensively average for me we should try stay up the way Palace use to when they had Zaha and Bolasie on the wings and just go for it every game and they’d get enough wins to stay up

That’s the issue Fulham are a decent side but not a team we should fear playing or there’s zero point in being in the league if scared of teams like that, put your best players on the pitch tweak tactics for who your against but ultimately go out and go for the win which we aren’t doing currently

Why is it a big ask? We’ve got enough in the squad to stay up plenty worse sides than us have stayed up, that won’t wash with me if we had a points deduction then yes but we’re very competitive last 10/15 in games when we actually ask them questions if we’re gonna start the game shit scared of every side then it will be a big ask

Him being good with his feet can still be important and a bonus without him being told to try play tiki taka out the back! Accurate and confident passes into the final third and middle of the pitch when times right can be a real threat I personally wouldn’t trade him in for a keeper with basic ability with their feet when in a season or so if we stay up we can play more dominant football and be better with possession

We’ve got to be pretty appealing for managers now, got good recent history probably will have a decent amount to spend going forward and a good core of players, if a manager kept us up this season they’d have a great platform to challenge for Europe again imo

Definitely willing to give him a chance but also hope the board react sooner rather than later if needs be, also I agree about our squad not being better than anyone else’s to a degree but I think we have enough quality if managed right to stay up
