Pretty awful couple of days, to say the least. Questions will be asked and there is a balance between believing in the methods and also hiding behind it. We have scored a lot of runs playing this way, Duckett doesn't get his hundred for example without taking the same risks everyone else did, but you need it to come off for more than one of them to win a match against the best. India have done well to prepare less spinning wickets in the last couple of tests, overly spinning wickets make our bowlers better and give them a chance. If you need that bit of skills, their spinners are much better. Can't let India get 400plus every first innings, bowlers haven't been threatening enough.

You do have to take the rough with the smooth, when shots come off we all love it. But its also a bit of a cop out as well. Small adaptations when needed, like seeing off Bumrah.
