There will be plenty of comments about the over the top reactions at half time but it was incredible that we survived the first half and came in at nil nil. Was really really poor, but Birmingham weren't good enough to take their chances. Regained control second half and normal service resumes. I thinks it's an important victory to keep things positive after last 2 games.

Really good day for England, brilliant from Pope. Shame one batter couldn't go bigger in the first innings because we'd be well on top now. Can't see our bowlers being good enough to win the game but you never know with a bit of scoreboard pressure.

What kind of shot was that from Pope Some days it will get him out but gets so many runs with that switch hit.

Obviously not scored enough in that first innings but don't think the batsmen have been bad, most have got out to devent bowling. Really disappointing bowling effort though. Wouldn't be surprised to see Dan Lawrence come in as an extra batter who can bowl if it's another spin friendly wicket next time. Always nice to spot a Leicester shirt in the crowd.
