  1. Left centre back for Sheff Wed is diabolical
  2. Why do we always turn Bumrah into a decent lower order batsmen, never scores anything against anyone else
  3. It will be all over tomorrow and they can go home, all the makings of a 'I just want to go home test'
  4. I think anything over £30m is probably fair, try and push it higher obviously but I don't think he will ever be more than a Lower half premier league player. He has a couple of really good attributes but also some pretty hampering weaknesses.
  5. I say we **** em, spend everything, take all the points deductions and go out in style
  6. Made too many mistakes since winning the league and tried to be a bigger club than we are. Unable to match revenue to expenditure. We had our fun didn't we paying the price now.
  7. I think Faes has had a good season but I'd be tempted with Coady and Vestergaard for this game. I think he's due a rest. And put Justin in as a more traditional right back (as if ) Hermansen Justin Coady Vestergaard Doyle Ndidi Winks KDH Fatawu Daka Mavididi
  8. I didn't realise it was so tight in the bottom half, I mean I know it always is pretty compact but anyone in bottom half can go down.
  9. I think it still falls into the 'gamble' territory'. Has the potential to be very good but I'm not fully convinced he will develop. It's a gamble when money is likely to be tight but I feel like its one we have to take (assuming promotion)
  10. I can see what he wants but I think you need to be Man City or have top quality players to make it work consistently and actually look in control. I don't know if it's the back players not playing forward or the 8's, wingers, and strikers being shit at being available for a pass. You watch Man city play and they are constantly rotating positions, dragging defenders everywhere, we pass around but go nowhere.
  11. Seen a few people describe it as gritty but I don't think it was. A 1-0 away win doesn't automatically classify as gritty. Last 10 minutes was chaotic and unnecessarily last ditch. If they had any sort of creativity about them they would have scored. The irony is that we have so much more control of the game when we are attacking, passing around the back 4 and keeper is not control.
  12. If anything thats more confusing that we wouldn't attack shite like Sunderland but will against Leeds. We do get dragged down in games like tonight, if we do go up there is a chance we will look better because teams will try and play against us
  13. Criticism of performances and tactics is not allowed it seems. Not seen anyone who wants Enzo gone either.
  14. Says it all that Fatawus defensive work was the most impressive thing. Other than Doyle in the first 20 minutes who was class then we were obviously told to stop playing forward passes.
  15. Can't believe Vardy stayed on past the hour, got his goal but non existent second half.
  16. In isolation its a messy midweek win you sometimes need to get when you get promoted. In reality it's another really poor performance and we've made it hard for ourselves for no reason. Started brightly but after the goal it was woeful. Hull beat us if we play anywhere close to that. Ref was garbage but fair play for not bowing to pressure at the end, the player should be questioning why he's going down rather than shooting. Choudhury took a chance though. We deserved to concede. I'm struggling with Enzo I really am, as long as he gets the wins then fine but he puts it to chance. Fair enough if opposition force you back but they don't. Slow subs again too. Any 3 points are welcome, however they come.
  17. I thought the Brittania stadium was bad but I don't think I've seen a stadium as flat as this. Literally no belief in their team yet I'm sure we will somehow give them some.
  18. If we don't win this we don't deserve promotion. Similar to the Stoke game where we are clearly the better team but playing well within ourselves. Hopefully we have a similar second half to that game and run away with it. Wish we'd try and be more ruthless.
  19. It's a difficult choice between Saka and Foden. I guess it might depend on the opposition. Or you have to play one from the left, and maybe take away something from their games. Southgate loves Rashford so it wouldn't surprise me if he was chosen in that first game. Dropping Bellingham deeper is an option, alongside Rice with Alexander-Arnold inverted a little bit. Centre backs will let us down though. I really don't see a great option, some ok ones but thats it.
  20. Time for a response. I fancy us away from home more but we've got to take any chances we get. He'd never do it but I'd be tempted to play Iheanacho as a 10 behind Daka. With KDH, Winks and an inverted Choudhury it should be enough cover centrally.
  21. Difference then was we were looking for winners in the last 15 at the start of the season so were generally on top and in control of the games. Recently we've been getting in front earlier but that's led us to sitting back more.
  22. A lot to like about Rob Edwards.
  23. Sound like my dad, but at times it's over complicated and players are unable go to against the 'style'. I feel like the players are given so much information that they have no instinct or freedom.
  24. As a marauding full back he'd be quality in this league, but the left centre back role highlights weaknesses. Some times he will have decent games but he gets shown up. Him as a traditional right back in front of Fatawu would be unreal imo but Enzo will never do it.
  25. Where does the creativity come from? Seems we rely on good movement and getting into positions rather than individual bits of quality. Nothing comes from the midfield.
