Ever been ejected from a match ?
CrazyKopCorner replied to VintageFox73's topic in Leicester City Forum
I think that may have been 1981 when we were 3 - 0 down. A usual huge away following getting mightily pissed off with the shite on the pitch. -

Yes they were a real snarling bunch - I couldn't wait to get the hell out of there! I also remember the standing area being quite a bit lower so you had to climb the bloody wall Even before the match I'd spotted quite a few of ours at the front and there were quite a few nervous nods To be fair when it kicked off it was a pretty superb effort to fight the rabid Derby ***** off -

That's exactly what it felt like - I'm a bit embarrassed looking back now but it was circumstances - We'd been terrible for years and you could sense something was happening and I was desperate to go to the game. I remember being escorted round behind Shilton's goal and giving him some verbals too about Worthington Shags your misses - It was a huge buzz to get the reception off of the away end though but not something I was ever going to look to openly repeat. -

I think I was lucky - definitely a walk on the wild side. I remember being swirled round to a chorus of Derby Aggro which seemed really weird as I was used to Leicester Aggro Allo Allo I was talking to some bloke just before the game about how I thought Ted Mcthingy (I couldn't remember his name which may have been a giveaway) was a good player and the next minute he's trying to punch me in the ear. My mate was a bit tasty and laid in to about 3 or 4 of them - Not glorifying it and we'd not gone looking for trouble we just couldn't get tickets as we'd both moved away. -

I remember bouncing up and down on that temporary stand thinking I’m going to go through this bloody thing -

FM - I was one of the 200. I was at the front next to the Leicester fans. We said we’d keep quiet but as you say we scored early and my mate went up, cooper thought I was Derby until I produced my Leicester beanie hat. Marched round behind the goal by a police woman and got a hero’s reception from the Leicester fans who I gave a raised fist to. Ridiculous really but it felt great. Kicked out after thinking I was going to be nicked. Got into a Derby pub with about 50/70 of us and celebrated our 2nd goal in there. Got back into the ground to see us win 2-1 and give some abuse to the Derby. Remember more Leicester coming out of their pop side at the end too. The atmosphere was electric -
It'd be great to see her come through.

What do the players say in the pre-match huddle?
CrazyKopCorner replied to DJW1's topic in Leicester City Forum
**** all! Done purely for effect to give the impression that a) they are united (I've never known togetherness like it said in a soft scouse twat accent) and b) to look as though they're motivated -
I like the Claude Puel analogy but I'd have her as RVFN and Kwasi as McClintock
-
I'm going soft in my old age but fair enough to them - They've been absolutely shite for over 30 years so by the law of averages they had to come good at some point. It is annoying of course but more so that we should have been looking for a proper manager like Nuno ourselves rather than ****ing about with Enzo (who was always going to **** off), Cooper and one man walking disaster that is RVFN.
-
and so she is and will prove
-
Coldest you’ve ever been at a game
CrazyKopCorner replied to Nolucklcfc's topic in Leicester City Forum
I think it was Feb 83 vs Shrewsbury at home - Only 6,155 I think turned up - we won 3-2 from memory and I think we lost just 1 in something like 15 / 16 to go up over Fulham. My feet were so cold it was painful. -
You can't erase Kwasi Kwarteng but just because he was shite does not mean Rachel Reeves is not as dodgy as **** and as useless as a concrete parachute.
-
You're right she's great
-
It took her over 3 months to put together her own complete and utter disastrous budget. You make a fair point though they're in the same bracket - both ****ing useless
-
hhhhmmmmm - He was chancellor for 38 days She's been chancellor for 8 months and has resided over a total shit show
-
Anyone coming round to my thinking yet? She's absolutely garbage

FM gerrimin they've scored a goal and only conceded 2 ! -
Enzo clearly knows what he's doing which after Clueless Cooper and RVFN would be a huge sigh of relief. I appreciate the dull football but at least it would be largely or significantly more competent. There's absolutely no way he'd take the job though as he'd see it too much of a backward step in Project Enzo
-
The problem for me is that at times he looks a real class player to me but you're just waiting for his **** up which he makes at least one a game (usually more). You need a real solid consistent performer at Centre Half and unfortunately my yard sticks are Wes and Huth - now they're what I call proper centre halves - They're both around the club (or were) and I'd get them in doing master classes for some of our aspiring centre halves (write off the dim wits Faes, Coady &, Vesty)
-
Yes he's the sort of total c*** we need to get rid of and things will start to improve substantially. Clearly he is not a defender - he's afraid of the ball for a start and his closing down has been non existent and cost us so many goals - He only looks good when he pre-empts and attacks the ball.
-
Yes, I remember them starting it but the baby squad were pretty active around that time - Not that long after the Hare Krishna riot! It was a eutrophic afternoon which when you think was a 0-0 at Swindon (Reidy hit the bar after we'd barely got out of our half for much of the game) shows how shite we'd been for a few years
-
Yes I can still remember the chorus of Leicester are back from those on the pitch at Swindon and those in the stands, it really felt it and it went on to be true.
