Still l suppose he's working for conscience free mass murderers who brook no other opinions but their own on pain of decapitation so l guess the FA might be a sideways move.. 😐
-
Nothing but he did well enough at Bournemouth to get a thumbs down from the FA..
-
Nah, too successful. It's well known that England managers need to have won nowt (Southgate, McClaren, Turner, Hoddle etc etc) and not to have done particularly well either. But like govt. ministers and communist party apparatchicks they must talk the talk express no opinions of their own and be good arse lickers.
-
Ok, I'll ask.. Whats 2 and 3?
-
Hmmm.. Mebee but don't discount the reality of our situation, perhaps those same free agents have said no thanks, managers like players are millionaires and if they don't fancy the gig then they certainly ain't gonna do it for the wages alone. Jesus how did we get to this sh*tfest!
-
Lol, it's a Rodgers "surely he'll be sacked this week" situation in reverse! Don't apply common sense to our decision makers and you won't be disappointed most of the time.
-
It's GONE, the word is GONE! As in " wheres Fred?" Ans. "he's GONE down the shop" How nuts is " he's went down the shop" Yanks and Shearer mangle the bleedin' English language!

Could you make your abusive insults a bit clearer please Mr Pro? Does the **** mean cnut, tawt or fcuk? (Or something else entirely?)
-
No he isn't, Here's three names you'd have wanted in your team - Gerard, Lampard and Rooney. As your Manager?........ "Hello Mr. Cooper, meet Dr Smith Leicester citys resident cosmetic surgeon"
-
If it's Cooper the appointment just seems a bit soggy, a little lacking in.. Well, anything really. Corberan would be a " wahay here we go" for me, but Cooper... Hmmm
-
C'mon bud, say what you really think 🤣

Brucie sure has a lot of packs to acquire, at the mo he's on a one pack!

The argument about the "new" way of playing vs the "old" way of playing is as bogus as old vs new music, successful young musicians draw on the past just as successful young coaches do. Progression is not a straight line its a circle and old styles both in sport and music come around again and are recycled as new! The point here is not how a particular manager is perceived as playing, its about adaptability and the wit and willingness to change to suit the circumstances. As l said about Rodgers any fool can impose a style of play on a group of players and fail because they aren't good enough, the music analogy applies again, asking your ok but limited lead guitarist to play a Nuno Bettencourt 10 minute solo is plainly crazy but that same guitarist could be very entertaining and successful with a simpler piece. It's so easy to see a team playing in a particular way and assume that's how the coach likes to play, it may be thats how he has to play to succeed with the players at his disposal! Great generals did not go into every battle with the same plan, the ones that did are forgotten. Coaches that refuse to change the way they play are basically shop windowing themselves imao, Rodgers was and so was Enzo.

Plymouth Chairman said that Rooney was the "most attractive" of the candidates - First time that word and "Rooney" have appeared in the same sentence - doubtful we'd say the same if we appoint Cooper.. Unless we also interview Quasimodo, that frog that the princess had to kiss and Ugo Ug the world gurning champion.. Hmmm.. not sure about Quasimodo though. 😐

Plainly you've never met my ex wife... 😕

Common sense rule #1: lf the EPL or FA change a rule it is solely for the best interests of the greedy 6. Common sense rule #2 : if FIFA or UEFA change a rule it is solely for the best interests of lining their own (individuals) pockets In short: money. Expect the worst of motives from these criminals and you will be correct 99% of the time, the 1% remaining is stupidity.

Only if they need a substantial retinue! They sure wouldn't need someone else's.

Personally I'm not in the least sorry to see him go, l watch football to be entertained and frankly his style is a combination of boring and frustrating. He got the job done and thats it. Now we are odds on to be bottom 3, at least lets try to be entertaining! Relegated and boring would just about do for me! Enzo was so like his predecessor in his "my way or the highway" philosophy, we were simply a rung on his ladder and frankly he never gave a damn about us spectators, his focus was always about one thing - his career progression. We are in a one season world now, anyone we employ as head coach WILL be poached if they do well and sacked if they don't, a team like us can't build in this scenario, only the greedy 6 can afford to buy and fail, rinse and repeat. Another case of rules made to suit themseves. Personally l find this all so disheartening, not the Enzo Chelsea thing cos those entitled pri*ks deserve his style but the prospect of finding a talent and him being bought off and probably discarded after 6 months.

Better manager than Poch? Better than Potter? Tuchel? The answer needs to be yes to all of these or he's gone by xmas.. The answer is 99% no. I'll take the payout any day.

It's hard to accept but ultimately true that money/ power/ambition override virtually all loyalty. Self interest in todays world trumps old fashioned notions such as "one club man". Enzo has zero loyalty to us and that's not a criticism of him, if he does well at Chelsea or another rich club, and Real or Barca come knocking he like any ambitious person will also have zero loyalty to them. Again it's difficult to accept but we are basically a feeder club for bigger (wealthier) clubs, players and coaches who do well here will leave for the dream of glory, the lure of fame and the certainty of a vast fortune, or the club has to sell to survive. (One of the many reasons JV is so loved is his rare resistance to two of the the above - he has vast fortune compared to most) The field was never level and frankly it's tipping towards the haves more every year, they control the money and therefore they design the rules to benefit themselves. Fair competition is sadly a thing of the past in the EPL. l think we have to go along with the fantasy of fairness and fool ourselves into believing success for us and most others is anything other than watching our team play and hoping for the occasional win against the greedy 6 - if we want to enjoy it.

I see the Pilgrims have let their new Head coach instruct the signwriter.. They added a picture too, Waynes not so hot with words.
