Score first and we likely win it, concede first and we lose. Simple as. -
Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'

Yeah, it's shocking really, i think it's people waking up and realising that they're "still on Craggy island"! -
What Happens if we don’t get promoted
J. James replied to funkyrobot's topic in Leicester City Forum
Right now with this squad, and parachute payments an average manager gets us automatic promotion. This is not to say that Enzo is less than average. As a team such as City languishes in the championship, each year the quality of the manager has to increase, he needs to be able to recruit unrecognised talent (ie not big money), build a team, play to their strengths and win. At present the manager "only" has to play to their strengths and win. Even with a virtual genius in charge it would still be difficult and after 3 or 4 seasons next to miraculous. And its getting harder. If the talented manager was perceived as doing well, he would be poached as would any promising young players and its back to square one. Next season, if we fail to get promoted, we will be in the position of Norwich, WBA and Watford, relegated teams that failed to win promotion at the first attempt and are now looking like outsiders in the promotion chase at best. We would without a shadow of doubt lose the cream, and even if we do get promoted i think the legend that is Vards will go to the USA to end his wonderful career, massively more likely if we're still in the second tier. The old saying is that anyone is two bad decisions away from living on the streets. For a football club the streets equate to bankruptcy. Our club made one catastrophically bad decision in allowing the fraudulent opinionated fool to ruin us and we simply must get up this year even if we are odds on to go down again. All in all for Semper Eadum it must be Carpe diem. -
Errm we've lost 3 in a row to Leeds (top 3) Middlesbrough (mid table) and QPR (bottom 4)... Maybe top, middle and bottom teams are exactly the ones you lose against as they are so..... Able to work us out? 🤣
-
Need a striker who can score not just contribute, Vards is still head and shoulders above the rest but the lads fitness is an understandable issue, Daka will never be a 20 a season man in any league. I said after 6 games I'd bite yer hand off for 2nd, now I'd take 3rd... Leeds and Soton are gonna catch us if not Ipswich.. Worried and a bit angry.

Yes but that's only natural, under the fraud EVERY game was a worry, and big games were hide in a cupboard time. Had that charlatan remained, l truly believe he could have put us into administration, but at least our owner woke up and saw that "the king has no clothes" - late, but not never. Reading the Bhoys complaints by and about him is deja vu all over again!

I guess as a sweeper keeper the difficult thing is when to pass and when to hoof, the short 50/50 passes in our box cause me to clench too often atm! -

Raikhy is keen but he's a serial lunger... Needs a word or taking off b4 the ref does it -
Lol.. I have a mental list of things to blame on the fraud.. All entirely justified.. 🤔 But expecting the worst in Leicester predates his bloody disastrous tenure by about 400 years.. as i recall.. And will endure when he's just a bogey man used to frighten the ankle biters!

This is quite obviously not " team of the week" but rather "individuals of the week" But it's understandable, how boring (for others) would the truth be? i.e. "team of the week" - Leicester "team of the week" - Leicester "team of the week" - Leicester "team of the week" - Leicester "team of the week" - Leicester Etc. Etc. Living away from Leicester all the football fans i talk to consider the city to already be out of this league!

Hmm. When i look at our forthcoming fixtures, i naturally look at Soton, Leeds and Ipswich' too, in the hope that they may have a tougher game than us and drop points, i suppose we all do that. But it seems to me that from WBA down the consistency of the teams is completely lacking and only on rare occasions do "the rest" perform against the present top 4. I think Ipswich will soon be absorbed into "the rest" too. The only unknown for me now is which of Leeds or Soton will have to win a prem place via playoffs. I'm obviously not complaining but the championship cards do seem heavily stacked in favour of the three relegated teams to the extent of it would take a total idiot manager not to be immediately promoted. Thank goodness we have Enzo and not a former total idiot in charge!

I reckon we could be playing Anstey Nomads under 14 girls at home and SOMEONE would " be a bit worried", "have a bad feeling" or see "upset written all over this one" 🤣🤣 I guess this phenomenon is called "coming from Leicester"!

Lol, yeah that they did, they could improve the bloody thing by transmitting the conversation between the ref and the tmo.. Sorry.. 4th official, so that we spectators can hear the reasoning, again as happens in rugby, but that would be like hearing politicians telling the truth.. No no no, we dont want the rabble to interfere with our power. But this is a blue pill.. Sorry.. Card thread not f*%#ing Var

Oh, i didn't know that, ta. So they CAN actually scrap things that aren't working and/or are almost universally hated then... err... Three letters beginning with V?

This is another sop to weak refs who are afraid to yellow card players for intimidation and dissent. A better rule change if they must would be another rugby one - mouth off and its ten meters, keep mouthing and its another ten something tells me the gobbing off would stop if the free kick was 5 meters outside the box and more mouth mean it was upgraded to a penalty... But this is really not needed at all, yellow cards are there to be shown for dissent and a weak/ inept ref would still be useless if they had a veritable rainbow of cards.. Stop complicating our simple game!
