Anyone who has been a football fan for 10 minutes or more gets that virtually all managers have a level at which they are capable of success. Martin has proven he is utterly sh!t at prem, championship and Scottish prem level, maybe Div 1 is his level after his recent experiences(unlikely I know). But what happens IF we get back to the championship and he's back to his usual level? Another sacking? More compensation? Or no money for either and back to div 1?

For me it's keeping Rodgers for way too long,should have gone after the Notts Forest debacle, and paying massively high wages with no provision for changing circumstances- such as relegation! Frankly the art is to find hidden talent like Kante, Mahrez,Vards etc, any fool can sign mediocre or poor players for crazy high wages.
