McAteer looked a little frightened to let loose and be a winger, too often looking for the easy pass back, rather than taking on defenders. -
Please please please can anyone other than DH take set pieces?
-
Given that city create so few opportunities and nothing from set pieces it’s criminal when Nacho with plenty of time in front of goal can’t even force a save.
-
The city players must have known the gentleman sitting in the second tier left of the borough goal as that is where they were placing most of their shots. Please Enzo practice shooting. So much possession so few shots troubling the keeper.
-
Oh dear KDH having had such a promising debut season your promise has slipped and last years consistent poor form has carried over. Your team mates are wrongly derided for slipping through passes only to find you’re still rocking on your heels. Measured passes often to the wrong side and you are clearly deluded if you think you are the answer to replace madders at set pieces. Time for a break my friend. Have a rest on the bench and let others more capable drive the midfield.

I think it's too late to make a change now. SW should Have had replacement lined up 2 weeks ago. It will take too long given the changes the club is facing to go through to get s new DOF's feet under the table in time to meet the challenges of the new season. Bring in a manager with a preferred DOF to take over by Christmas. What is obvious is that clubs with new financial backers are more ruthless than city. Top needs help and needs to toughen up and make tough decisions like his (loved and respected by all city fans) dad would make.

Everton Axe 3 directors and Kenwrights future in doubt after disappointing season. What will City do after a disastrous season?
-
The chipmunk will play well until Xmas then go into his usual hibernation and put on some condition.Thereafter Villa will work out that their midfield lacks energy and commitment . He can pass but he cannot hide.

The Trust has failed to recognise that the club has moved on the last nine years or so, as I and I believe and most supporters thought We were no longer the "yoyo, hope for the occasional run in a cup" club that existed 10 or so years ago. Indeed Seagrave is the board's statement piece to that effect. Instead the Trust's message is the club has not moved on, we are mistaken, be happy for past glories and accept your lot.
-
'disappointed and we have to learn lessons' Is that it? Is that the gist of what you have to say? If it is then we can have no trust in the Trust as a voice for the fans or a pressure group. If the Trust is about financial governance rather than football matters then at least spell it out - with huge wage bills and significant borrowing, senior management has allowed the club to sleep walk into relegation and in turn has put the club in a perilous situation. Frankly both the national and local press have been far more analytical in the clubs downfall and the reasons behind it. Foxes Trust why bother to exist?
-
Can we now hear from his silent partners - Rudkin/Whelan as to where the club is now and the plan going forward, if of course they have one?
-
Twenty minutes or so after the match I went onto the LCFC website the latest news was not relegation but "season ticket price feeze" says it all - denial
-
True but it allowed Rudkin, Rodgers and Whelan to rest on their laurels. The idea that relegation could happen if they did not keep moving forward (unlike the teams regular method of play) was just inconceivable to them until too late.
-
Last time relegation was different - we were there for the ride never expecting to compete for long in the PlL with fairly talentless squad but full of heart and commitment. Now the opposite is true so the hurt and disappointment is that much deeper.
-
On reflection it probably all went wrong ironically at the home match with West Ham . A helicopter crashed and we lost a leader, Vichai, who had the team and fans at heart and was not shy at making tough decisions rathe rather then relying on bollocks from Rudkin and Whelan.
-
Rudkin and his family disappointed with the lack of Euro City breaks this season have arranged a nice holiday in Thailand and Singapore (City's stupid pre season tour) ahead of next seasons less attractive trips to Ipswich/Rotherham. However he needs a fat bonus to reflect his great achievement of securing relegation for both the Mens and Development squads in the same season.
-
Whilst Top has done his best with so called professional advice (Rudkin and his fellow board members) I doubt his wise father who created a world brand would have made similar mistakes in trusting these charlatans.
-
For me conceding the 2 later goals against Brentford in the first game when coasting was such a disappointment it set the tone for what was to follow.
-
No manager, no team, no money but a v nice training ground. Far worse off than when we were last relegated. - Prediction mid table obscurity with Watford and Norwich.
-
Tielemans and Soumare again, why why why??? It doesn't work, they hardly do any work - stuff of nightmares. At least we won't see this combination and the idiot who selects it again.

"The fault lies with none of the four men who have taken charge of the club this season but, instead with the board" - Today's Times "They have been sleepwalking into catastrophe...For a club, not so long ago, was lauded for its impressive business model to find itself in this situation is remarkable...waited too long for decisive action. Rodgers sacking was reactionary and there was no plan in placer a replacement. Instead they gambled on caretaker coaches". -

It is unfortunate LCFC does not have shareholders (outside of the 5 family members) who can hold senior management to account for failure. Instead failure is ignored/rewarded by those who are culpable . -
"The tour of Shame".Another opportunity to be battered by ex PL rivals Spurs and Liverpool on Tops own doorstep! Jon Rudkin will be happy, a nice holiday for him and his family having missed out on European city breaks this season. Only problem Jon is that we are a full month away from transfer deadline day, the only days of the year your recruitment team get off its arse. Given the summer exodus will we have enough first team players to fulfil the fixtures?
