  1. How many games would Riccy have lasted playing a wing back role.
  2. Right about dropping Ndidi, but would rather see Praet or Kasey start there.
  3. Daka scored from offside (just needed to time that better), Daka missed a sitter then spooned a shot. Riccy had a golden chance. Nacho's header cleared off the line. Mavididi poor first touch against Plymouth was a golden chance. There were plenty.
  4. We are creating lots of chances and actually not conceding that many. The system has some up a cropper against low block teams all of a sudden who instead of booting the ball over the bar have begun converting 1 of the very few chances they have. Leeds have found themselves in the very same position as us. Watched Leeds and Ipswich yesterday and both had far better chances against them (their keepers were really tested). I expect the WBA game to be more like the Norwich game.
  5. Ironically, the inverted role will likely be much more effective against WBA. Its struggled where teams go all out low block and everything compresses and we get stung on the counter.
  6. The system is coming for absolute pelters at the moment. But we just need to be able to convert some chances! Either us or Leeds are going to sort it out any game now.
  7. What's interesting to me is that the bottom half of the Championship woke up one morning and decided they could compete.

    Daka

Up until a few games ago, Daka had a very strong goals / games ratio. Cannon has had an injury issue. I can understand why he has been playing him. Daka hit his poor form at exactly the wrong time.
  9. Bang on the money this. Same against Millwall. I still maintain we create enough (although i would like to create more obvs) but our entire team have got the yips in front of goal. Leeds do as well. Its in all their heads. One of us (Leeds / Leicester) will fix the problem and become quite clinical in the run in. Right now I don't see Daka or Nacho being the catalyst for it.

    Daka

To be absolutely clear, a similar reel could be made from Vardy's misses this season. Vardy will forever be the greatest thing that ever happened to this club, but he is not immune from criticism in front of goal this season.
  11. I don't see Daka starting the next game. He's probably done now. I don't see Enzo swapping Faes for Coady - i really don't. Its whether Coady has enough to take Jannik out of the team.
  12. The 'problem' people have with Mads is that he doesn't 'have' to make many saves at the moment. In the last 2 defeats in particular he's pretty much had nothing to do and hardly faced any shots (apart from 2 unstoppable shots that have raced past him). I don't recall him having to do much against Norwich or Brum either. Right now there isn't anymore the guy can do and people have started taking their possession football frustrations out on him. Unfairly.
  13. Literally the thing he is the worst at.
  14. Leeds and our issues are largely the same, even though we play completely different styles. We both look knackered and we aren't taking our chances. In the last 2 games, Leicester and Leeds created enough and both had golden opportunities that should have been taken. Once chances aren't taken, frustration kicks in and both teams start overplaying. Both Farke and Enzo don't have a solution to it - the problem is in the players heads. Their approach is to keep doing the same thing in the hope the players snap out of it. Ipswich are different imho. They are playing the same as they always have done. The lucks just dried up. Players don't seem as frustrated though and they don't look like they are knackered. 3 games at home should be the part that clinches this. The fans were brilliant in the last 2 home games. Do the same and it will give us the edge i am sure. The 'almighty' leeds fans yesterday were awful.
  15. Good luck with that. He's out of contract in 4 games.
  16. There is a lot not to like about Praet, but he is technically gifted and that does help against low block setups. He had a part to play in the 2nd goal against brum. Akgun has a far superior engine room and the technical ability is there but the performances are really inconsistent. Akgun would benefit from a period of starts - but i fear there are politics (finances) involved preventing that. Can't explain how disappointed i've been with Wilf last 3 games. Its either not being fit or not giving a toss. I wouldn't be starting against WBA.
  17. People see him as the answer because he's not played. This is a guy that 12 months ago could barely get in the WBA team. Love everything he has done for the club, but if he had started the last 2 games everyone would be moaning about how crap he is and quizzing why on earth he is starting.
  18. Winks is still giving it everything. Wilf looks like he has switched off to me. Rather start Preat or Akgun right now.
  19. This peeves me a little bit. When we got relegated, video footage of my wife and son found its way all over media. My son had a tik tok meme made of him that i reckon a lot of you would have seen and taken the piss out of. The day we were was relegated was gut-wrenching for him. We clapped off Maddison and Barnes because we knew it was the last time we would see them (we thought it would be the same for KDH and Vardy at the time). They had actually given us some decent memories over the years and we watched great goals from them. We didn't clap them to celebrate relegation. Take the piss all you like, but sometimes people are just decent human beings and i am glad that my son doesn't behave like an entitled little brat. He could after all support Man City, Liverpool or Chelsea like all his mates do.
  20. Possibly some of the worst shit i have read on here.
  21. Couldn't give a f4ck.
  22. 2 beers in. Feel confident. Win against WBA
  23. Borough had 2 great opportunities to win that. Ipswich playing down the clock at the end and the fans leaving early. Its not just us feeling it, but i can't help but feel that Ipswich aren't getting the luck they once had. Enzo has a week with the team to get this sorted. WBA had a poor result themselves. Can't believe we are still bang in this. Crazy season where all the 'other' teams decided to turn up for the last 8 or so games.
  24. Don’t think so. All set up for that last minute winner.
