Plenty can be sung on a match day without booze, I have a croaky throat most games. Not sure how being anxious comes into play? Got to do a bit of coke though, full fat is the way to go from the corner shop next to the chippy.. chilled too I’ll get my coat

You could be onto something.. ejection without refund

Some interesting new comments on this thread and totally agree with this, it will have to be behind the goal somewhere for it to be fullly effective as they won’t install safe standing in the East. Sorry I don’t buy this for one second, it’s been mentioned before that being next to the away fans ain’t needed for a good atmosphere. I can list countless clubs which have their section of atmosphere at the opposite end, all that’s needed is the willingness and sadly that’s severely lacking for some unknown reason. someone above has mentioned the drum. Is the drum needed? I believe most definitely otherwise it will be as quiet as the aways are. With Preston being the exception let’s not think that anyone actually enjoys the atmospheres on the road. The section is definitely moving in the right direction at home though and I think over time improvements can be made with feedback.. I think if the lads shortened the amount of time a song was sung and changed it to something different then it might gain a better interest. People may not like the European vibe that’s been brought it. It’s just moving with the times and it’s something new and different. It won’t please everyone. A suggestion has been made to take the drum away for a trial to make it a more authentic atmosphere. I can only assume this person wasn’t in the section when the lads decided they wouldn’t sing the entire game a few months back? comments on foxestalk of “they just stood there and made no effort”.. I think people underestimate just how much effort these lads put in to get everyone going. If making a noise ain’t your thing, if seeing flags waving ain’t your thing, if generally watching the game without looking at social media or checking BBC results every couple of mins ain’t your thing then I’m baffled as to why people are booking in there?

This match should be boycotted.. But saying that won’t change a thing..

I went two years ago and considering it’s a newish stadium it’s an absolute eyesore

That was fox travel prices

This will be £40+.. don’t think this will sell well at all and should reach members with ease.. although I said the same about Walsall
-
I honestly was thinking of putting this on the song thread a few weeks back but thought I’d get a bit of backlash regarding the tragedy.. if people have the opinion that a black and orange kit looks like a fire and the club should know better I would hate to see what they think about a song that actually has the word fire in it.. I’m all for it by the way and think it can be added to any player to make it a decent one 👌

This may be a biased comment but as much as I am for our lads in the section who try to do a good job, I did find their group dressed in black slightly odd. Not because of what they were trying to do, but more the actual lack of drum time.. seemed to only get going when allez allez started. (WHICH HAS BEEN POSTED IN OUR SONG TOPIC MANY A TIMES 😜 😜) but other than that they seemed a bit disinterested.. I think that’s full credit to sk1 lads for going majority of the game. if I only had one critique about away days it would be for everyone to bring their voices that seem fine before in the concourses out to the stands. It seems to go quiet for long periods only for football in a library to get going..

I get frustrated beyond words when I hear “this is our level”.. NO ITS NOT OUR LEVEL. Nobody is expecting champions league positioning or even top half. But FFS when you watch utter drivel against Everton and Walsall it’s laughable. it’s all about picking up the points and any decent manager would be getting the points against the weaker half at home especially. Sitting 11-16 is our level, fighting it out in a relegation scrap isn’t.. if out the next 4 games of Bournemouth, Southampton, forest and Ipswich they can’t pick up 7 points or so then I can’t see how they can possibly keep afloat of the relegation zone..

I’m a member and got the same email.. wouldn’t worry too much.. I entered the ballot that’s about it. I should imagine it was sent out in error as I didn’t get one for Fulham

Safe standing - time to act
MS0204 replied to Safe Standing Roadshow's topic in Leicester City Forum
Every questionnaire I’m filling out regarding the match I’m selecting atmosphere to comment on the need for safe standing.. I don’t know why I bother half the time but surely it’ll make a difference if many more do it.. -
At least members will get a shot at this but twice in 10 days

Love it like that

Get out of our club, get out of our cluuub Steve cooper, get out of our club… You simply can’t defend that tonight..
-
Great read from the green brigade.. every team seems to be feeling it as previously mentioned.. however I can’t imagine Celtic have as many quiet games as the king power does..
-
Away tickets don’t go to general sale or resale platform.. only the odd home tickets on the resale platform providing you have a booking history.. Bournemouth is available for general sale currently if you want your first point..
-
I’ve said this before, there is nothing wrong with going through the player chants and not waiting until they’ve made a darting run.. let’s sing about players even when they ain’t on the pitch.. why? Why not save having the same 6-8 chants on loop for 90 mins.. and reverting back to the ufs meeting and I know @Nolucklcfc was very vocal about it and spoke well about the subject, but we need and I mean desperately need more chants about the title win. Is there any chance we can start implementing the songs thread into the stadium as there are some crackers on there.. did the bilal chant get an airing on Saturday as if so I didn’t hear it..
-
One thing I did notice and apologies if it’s already been mentioned. But when you looked towards the technical areas yesterday a lot of the time, you had Dyche who was hands cupped to mouth bellowing instructions then doing his best canoeing impressions. Then cooper just stands there with his arms folded. Just seems zero about him
-
He does every game.. absolutely fair play to him, you cannot fault his commitment. I think there is some sparse moments people do actually take note and respond
-
Although I was for Enzo and thought the team did well to carve open the midfields of most last season which didn’t impress some, I wonder their thoughts tonight after wanting Enzo gone to now watching this? Is anyone who wanted Enzo out willing to share their views? I won’t bet on it
-
Agree but it will never happen. How many people stayed in the section but contribute f all..

Poor today, looked uninterested
