New rules suggest I think we can sign 4 players without work permits? Something like that

11 assists from LWB is pretty damn good. Young enough to be moulded. Seems sensible for a good price.

Approx. 40m is a decent return for a relegated team I think. About what we could've expected. Blows my mind more that 40m is now considered peanuts and a going transfer of 100m is now considered average, even if true world class talents don't move for that. Transfer market is absolutely bullshit crazy.
-
Yep right now there is zero assist attacking quality in the team. Has to be addressed asap
-
I'll add that I bloody love his character. That alone is reason why I want to keep him here
-
He's an absolute chaos merchant. Still can't get over his passion for the club whilst overall being treated pretty horrendously over the last 3+ years by Brodge. Hope he stays

Great player on his day, absolute knack for pin point strokey finishes. Very important for the team over the last 4/5 years. But also very one dimensional, no defensive nous. Lost the ability to dribble as time went on. Was limited in linking play if he wasn't 2 on 2 attacking. Passing was limited, couldn't cross. But yeah could finish well given the angle. Being a bright young spark you can't blame either him or the team for moving on. Could have a stellar career from here if he applies himself. To good for the Championship, settled in the Prem. Leaves a hole but it's a hole than can be filled if the club does it's due diligence.

Leicester City are exploring a move for Manchester City defender Callum Doyle. The 19-year-old is valued at between £7million-£10million and Leicester are interested in bringing him to the club on a permanent basis. Doyle is a product of the Manchester City academy and has spent the last two seasons on loan in the English Football League (EFL). He won promotion to the Championship via the League One play-offs with Sunderland during the 2021-22 campaign and was part of the Coventry City side who reached the Championship play-off final in 2022-23. Doyle made 46 appearances in all competitions for Coventry last season. He has represented England at youth level but is yet to make a senior appearance for Manchester City. Leicester are preparing for their first season back in the Championship since the 2013-14 campaign following last season’s relegation from the Premier League. The club have already completed the signings of Conor Coady and Harry Winks ahead of the new campaign. Enzo Maresca was appointed as the club’s new manager, succeeding interim boss Dean Smith, in June.

You originally poo pooed the 25m asking price which Steve Earl suggested. I was comparing him to that price. Obviously not 40/50m. For his goal/assist contribution per 90 minutes the last 3 seasons he's definitely worth 25m. Apologies if I was unclear.
-
You definitely can, nacho per 90 is comparable in assists and much better in goals
-
You technically can, his goal/assist ratio to games played was unreal the last 3 years
-
**** this. Not happening. 8m is ridiculous.

Proper positive official signing vid. Speaks well. Confident. Definitely captain material. Kit looks lovely in the sun too
