  1. I hope you're right but I can't see it. I think we're in a bind where the current ownership cannot make the changes needed but, due to emotional ties and the fact that it would be sold at such a small value compared to how much the family have put in (I reckon they'd have lost in total several hundred million pounds), mean that he can't/won't sell. Time will tell I suppose
  2. We do still get them but I think we've factored anything until Feb 2027 with Macquarie so we won't see the cash, the PL will pay direct to the bank. They could, I suppose, do the same with the Y3 amount but it's much smaller (especially if it's at an 8-9% interest rate). Given big overheads, dropping ticket sales, reduced tv income and limited squad resale value I am intrigued to see where the club get the cash to operate next season from.
  3. Pretty grim stuff. Doesn't reflect all that well on Maresca either
  4. This isn't right. If you look at the Charge registered on Companies House you'll see we've assigned all our rights to the income and (at section 6.8) it is entirely at the bank's discretion as to whether they get paid directly by the PL. We will not see that money in our accounts. The club's strategy has been to sell future income at a discount to fund today's expenses. That might make sense for transfer fees but we have seemingly done it for parachute payments and tv money too. If we take out parachute payments and tv money from next year's income we're left with player sales (not much resale value and we're a desperate seller), season ticket sales (can't see that going brilliantly) and sponsorship (we struggled to get a sponsor in the Championship). There is going to be a huge financial crunch next year unless the owner is willing/able to inject enormous amounts of cash.
  5. I can't message on here but I'd be interested and can collect at the ground.
  6. Looking for one adult ticket to collect at the ground. DM if available pls
  7. That's a serious effort mate. I did it nearly 10 years ago now (although we stuck mostly to the west coast to keep the mileage shorter). Are you doing it on your own or as part of a group? I remember the last few days feeling great though, there's some very beautiful (though in quite a bleak way) scenery. Hope your bike is sorted again soon and enjoy the last push!
