  1. Fact is the lad has not been given a lot of chances to prove himself. This type of strikers need game time to gain confidence. I understand PL is very demanding and you need to be on your top game as a striker in every game, but Championship is different and Daka should do alright. Unless he's League One quality which I find difficult to believe.
  2. Are these players picking certain games to boycott Ten Haag? I think there's just no quality there. Their league position is an absolute farce. Man Utd should be around Chelsea's position or even further down. They are instead just 3pts off Man City which is simply unbelievable.
  3. In fact almost 80% of the team is the same dead wood Spurs fans wanted out the previous season(s). The individual talent of Madders (even if he stayed healthy all season) and the quality of Son can't make a huge difference in a 38 games season. Ange tries to sweep the defensive problems under the carpet by going all attack and praying his team will be lucky enough to at least match the goals count of the opposition. Ange will learn the hard way that West Ham isn't Hibernian and Brighton isn't Hearts. He'll have to adapt soon, if not he'll be gone by next summer. Will Still plays a similar style of football at Reims but he's 2 classes above Ange tactics wise.
  4. If Ward-Prowse wasn't in position for the initial shot which rule applies? In my eyes this is no different to a GK handling the ball out of the box to prevent a goal scoring opportunity. Red card and indirect free kick?
  5. I'm a bit confused and I don't know why, I must be tired: Spurs player backpasses to his GK and the GK touches the ball with both hands to deny a clear goal scoring opportunity. Why this violation isn't punished at least with a yellow card? Does this incident fall under the advantage rule?
  6. Forest will soon taste the disaster of having a lunatic criminal as an owner. Premier League authorities and the gov are also to blame for not investigating Marinakis. Corruption and lobbying has penetrated everywhere. Forest will disappear to Sunday league with their fans playing football and singing about magic after several pints at local pubs.
  7. As it stands Man Utd are just 3pts off Man City. Shocking.
  8. True. Gives hope to all of us that play Football Manager.
  9. There's absolutely 0% chance Will Still goes to Forest. Also Forest have bigger issues and their finances will be under investigation soon.
  10. That Cucurella guy is National League quality.
  11. Never a penalty. Threat was gone already, bring back all the 90s football rules, this is disgusting. Fernandez finally is punished for his Bolshoi ballet academy theatrics.
  12. And player of the month for November is... Harry Maguire!
  13. I'm still not fully convinced these 3 teams are that bad. I have a feeling they'll start to earn more points somehow around Christmas time. I'm probably wrong though and my festive mood won't bring suddenly any quality to their game. 😀
  14. You're right, it isn't added but in this case the Luton player was blatantly wasting a lot of time. We've seen this scenario playing out hundreds of times: These players need to understand that is better to have a hectic flow of continuous play rather than time wasting or giving away stupid fouls in the midfield. The team chasing and seeking desperately for a goal will make more mistakes when the ball is actively on play. I don't know if these instructions are given by the managers or the players just do what they want when it comes to situations like this. If I remember well we lost a game against Arsenal the same way in our winning title season.
  15. Not true. Luton player earlier wasted around 20secs for a throw in. The extra time was justified in this case.
  16. Some players are brainless really. 95:52min and he commits a needless foul, stopping the play and gifts the opportunity for an organised attack. Good thing I'm not a manager because this player would be right away out of my team for the rest of the season.
  17. Luton has improved drastically lately. If Everton stays up Forest are also in big trouble.
  18. He can use the option to leave the talking to the assistant manager.
  19. Amazon could put mini cameras on each player and give us the choice to swap between players.
  20. Onana might be available soon then.
  21. This was my point. It's again down to abysmal officiating. They need to sort out the refs first. They're mainly "annoyed" about his tweet now.
  22. He has every right to complain to the ref. If his behaviour was extremely bad the ref should have booked him on the spot (yellow or red if Haaland used F bombs). This means the ref is not fit to officiate. But either way I'm mostly talking about Haaland's tweet.
  23. He's now bought another team (Rio Ave in Portugal if I'm not mistaken). Olympiakos fans are furious with him, there are rumours of him non paying agents/staff etc at Olympiakos also.
  24. FA is considering taking disciplinary action against Haaland which I find unacceptable. Haaland has every right to express his opinion, he has every right to be annoyed. FA and other football authorities need to stop acting like dictators. They're ruining the sport. If they don't act now fixing this mess (refs, VAR, ridiculous rules) we'll soon see half empty stadiums in Premier League.
