It's tricky but don't forget our board made statements which were the complete opposite of the Everton ones. We didn't strengthen our squad because we were following the FFP rules. BR being stubborn or the board being complacent and indecisive are irrelevant aspects to the case.

It won't be easy but our legal department can prove Everton's liability by gathering also some statements/interviews of their board members. There's an interview of Everton's owner saying he's aware of the team's financial situation but they need to spend more despite the FFP to strengthen their midfield. I have gathered also myself 3 more statements where it's clear they were breaching FFP rules to strengthen their squad to survive in the PL.

10pts is a fair deduction. I don't know why you're all thinking Everton will not struggle. Their next game is against ManUtd. It's Luton vs Palace and SheffUtd vs Bournemouth. They're going to Forest 2nd of December and the same day it's Burnley vs SheffUtd. Some of you are more optimistic than Everton fans.

They knew they were breaking the rules and they knew that by breaking these rules would keep them in top flight with extra revenue, otherwise they would be in League One now or at best case scenario trying to build a team of youngsters to survive in Championship. This is one of the arguments our legal team must present in the future court hearing. Imo there's also a civil case here and a criminal one for fraud for anyone involved. As it stands the case of Everton is interestingly more complex than Man City's regarding a potential compensation. Don't forget that Everton didn't, judging by results, benefit heavily on the pitch side of things. Yes they avoided relegation but their lawyers will claim it was by a small margin meaning the team was still not good enough. The court will rule a certain amount of compensation for all teams involved and this possibly will be set by arbitration. Man City case is more clear to me. They'll either get relegated or have a bigger deduction of points by the end of the season. Probably the latter. There's no way imo they take away any trophies/titles. Man City will be forced to compensate mainly Liverpool. If the case was in my hands and a I was a judge I would go with a -18 points from next season. Staight relegation of Man City as a disciplinary action will have an impact on Championship.

As a lawyer myself I'm certain Everton's lawyers will put the pressure on to FA regarding Man City's case (and Chelsea's). They even have the legal grounds to present the argument during the appeal's hearing. Just a heads up: European (Spanish, Italian and French) sports journalists are now certain both Man City and Chelsea are getting relegated or at least having a huge amount of points deducted by the end of the season.

It can only go down not up after the appeal decision. This is how all European football authorities operate regarding appeals. If the appeal is unsuccessful they'll go to CAS and final decision (guilty or not guilty) will be made in 3 and a half months, max 4 months.

Isn't it irrelevant though? They have a certain disciplinary action against them and as it stands they are bottom of the table alongside Burnley. Their team is quite weak also. In addition, their players will feel more pressure and teams around them gain some hope of survival. We also need to support Everton and stay away from any class lawsuit because next to our training centre we have a state-of-the-art field full of money trees.

Best half of the season so far. Man City is very vulnerable when teams find a way to string 3-4 successful from the back. Cucurella is a liability but I don't think they have another option for a LB, only Maatsen who is even worse especially in passing.

Good luck to them finding a decent CB in January. There are no quality CBs in the market. Varane has major problems with ETH and rightfully so as he was picking Evans in front of him which I find extremely bizarre. ETH is like BR, very stubborn without a proper reason. Spurs 1-0 up, some players are brain dead especially defenders, 2 players marking a single one on the edge of the box.
