  1. This kind of games are always overrated. Promotion/league tittle is never decided between the clashes of the direct rivals. You need to be consistent with all the other games. For example we might lose all 4 games against Leeds and Ipswich and still finish 18pts clear on the top. Leeds won 4-0 vs Ipswich, if they fail to win vs Preston they're doing right away a step backwards. From our position ofc a win will cement a good lead but let's keep consistency in all other games and job is done.
  2. Did Perez and the other clowns tell which refs they're going to use? Are they going to train their own refs?
  3. The same teams that started the basketball Euroleague which killed the domestic leagues, led to bankruptcy a lot of basketball teams and hundreds of them struggling now financially. Closed, permanent contracts for all these "big" teams in Euroleague, they have destroyed any competition and killed any chance of smaller teams to even dream they'll compete against these sharks.
  4. I don't think funding would have been an issue if they had the OK from all "big" teams. Saudis and Qatar would invest right away and possibly allowed to even have 2 teams in it with a future expansion.
  5. Nice. Absolutely fantastic announcement by Bayern FC (this is why the German 50+1 ownership scheme is good). Lyon and Marseille ofc rushed to accept the abomination (Lyon is in a relegation battle..), the 3 Portuguese teams also accepted it and that's it. The question is can UEFA still apply punishment/sanctions against these Supergreed teams? Imo they can despite the court ruling.
  6. The basketball Euroleague killed almost all European domestic leagues. Closed, private leagues only work in USA because that country has an extensive high school and college program for sports. I don't care if this Superleague thing is more open or whatever. I know what will happen. It's time for the fans to speak out and take back their sport. It's our sport, get all these corrupted clowns out including the politicians who support them. Unfortunately they're taking everything away from the base, I don't want to sound like a mad conspiracy theorist but it seems we're generally regressing as a society in this decade. 😔
  7. I don't think is that simple. Forest have a very eccentric (to put it politely) owner and imo this is the main reason their fans are scared of this change. Nuno's appointment is bonkers, he's not a "yes man", there will be relationship problems with Marinakis.
  8. I can't see Luton going down. They're better than Forest.
  9. This what I'm saying. They're overachieving by surviving 2 years in the PL under Cooper. Their fans are happy with this and they're genuinely scared a change will make things worse under this ownership.
  10. Because they believe Cooper is the one keeping this team together? They were shit last year also, the owner will keep doing dozens of transfers as he does at Olympiakos. They'll never achieve anything in PL under Marinakis and the football on the pitch will be unattractive all the times. They need to hold on into something and it's Cooper.
  11. You're probably not aware what's going on with their owner. I reckon Forest fans follow the news and rumours about Marinakis and this is one of the reasons they're behind Cooper and supporting him.
  12. Let's see if Cooper will talk now about Marinakis' antics, the total abusive interference he had regarding transfers and the dirty games Marinakis plays with agents. I hope Nuno is wise and won't go there. Forest will disappear in National League in a couple of years. Big investigation is coming for them and the owner.
  13. Daka is definitely not a terrible footballer. Far from it. He's a prolific finisher but he hasn't adapted unfortunately. He's great in open rhythm games or in teams with a focused counter attacking system. We need a dominant box striker but good luck with that. Can we sign Dovbyk from Girona? I don't think so.
  14. He's miles better than Barnes especially regarding his diagonal runs inside and finishing. The major issue most of these wingers have is the final pass decision when they're into the box or just outside of it and he needs to improve on it. It's at times frustrating to see him (like Barnes) have a complete blackout when it comes to this final pass. I don't expect KDB quality though. Just a bit more quality in this area.
  15. It's just four 3 pointers and a free throw point from illegal defense. Oops wrong sport.
  16. Even if you/we don't care that much it's nice from a personal point of view to motivate yourself watching a game like this and taking sides. It's just fun.
  17. Ipswich win and if possible a proper humiliation of Leeds. 1-5 or 1-4 would be perfect.
  18. Is ACDC playing on the background?
  19. And millions will be made by betting companies if this finishes 0-0.
  20. You probably didn't watch the last 2 games of Leeds. It was more than obvious their players were stressed and they were rushing everything. Farke also is now more afraid to use his bench, he's waiting until the 75min to make any changes. Their fans are losing patience, they're obsessed with automatic promotion because for some reason they think the team will collapse in playoffs. Ipswich will batter them next week. 1-4 to Ipswich.
  21. Why was he allowed to play again just a few months after the first incident? If the doctors gave him the green light it's very scary because these football professionals receive the best treatment.
  22. The problem isn't only ETH (who is obviously another mediocre, stubborn manager). They have at least 6 players that need to be dropped and put in the transfer list: Onana, Fernandez, Rashford, McTominay, Dalot, Amrabat... They need a manager who will get rid of all the above plus more. That said they need to do a lottery and pick someone from the season ticket holders. Or give the job to someone like Will Still.
  23. "A game is not won until it is lost." - David Pleat
  24. I guess he has a different heart issue? I don't know. What I know well though is that you don't mess around when you have heart problems and certainly it's a big risk competing in high tempo football games like in PL.
