Of course Mads could be a Nick Pope and this isn't anything more than an injury, and he's just one of those keepers that can't stay fit. Keylor Navas is still without a club (Gremio interested) and would be good filler til the end of the season.

That depends on what you consider his value. His value has definitely dropped from what we paid. In terms of selling, it's down to opportunity. Will we have an opportunity to sell him in the summer for what we're being offered now? Who knows, but I doubt we'd be getting a lot more, so then is it worth the risk? Or even forgetting that, is the money better utilised this window to keep us up? I think if we want more money than Utd are offering then we could offer a loan with an obligation on promotion at a higher fee than they're currently offering. It takes a risk out of it for them but gets us a better deal financially given we were ok with him playing out the season with no payoff at the end. There's no real right or wrong on this. We have plenty of recent examples of players that we didn't sell when offers came in and they just leeched away at us and we've regretted it. Having watched him this season, I'm not convinced at all really. I think some people take a cursory glance at his stats and assume he's doing really well, cos on the face of it it looks that way. But watching him and breaking that goals tally down, it's really not that impressive.

It's not suspicious, it's January. His team is just letting people know he'd like to leave in the hope someone comes in now. And it might work.

Whilst I think we'd do very well to get £15mill for him, I also think that a club like Newcastle who were previously linked, might not baulk too much at that kind of fee even if he wasn't a starter for them. I'd still be amazed.

Unfortunate thing with Faes is when he came we were all told he was a leader, a captain. Yet he's always the first to point the finger.

With him coming in I really want us to persevere with Okoli. And if the Faes rumours are true, then he'll be fxxking off now or in the summer, so it'd be nice to have Big Caleb given a chance instead of the ever regressing Coady.

There's always rumours kicking around about Duran. Which is bizarre tbh, but maybe they're looking to offload one?
