It is a bit odd that both Mav AND Ricardo aren't starting. VK has been playing high because it seemed like Mav was the preferred winger to drop inside and provide more direct support to the striker. Ricardo is our best attacking fullback, but Cooper seemed to prefer Mav playing the SS role over Fatawu, hence VK playing the high role. But if Mav isn't in the side then why not employ that tactic on the right so Fats can come further inside and we have the best attacking fullback doing the attacking? Does leave the option with Mav to sub him into either role of Vardy or Reid.

Fancy wanting a player who has scored a maximum of 5 goals in a season at senior level. Last season he got a hat trick against Sheffield Utd and scored against Forest and Fulham. He's shit. Arsenal have been crying out for a striker for a few years now, and they are constantly going to provide opportunities, yet he can't get in when there's no competition for that place.

Can only imagine he thinks Reid will be better playing the role he's tried Mav in preseason with VK playing high. And with Vardy to start also probably wants Mav as the option of his sub over Cannon.

It's odd because people on here moan that we don't pull dodgy deals or cheat the system the way the big boys do, then when we appear to do that the same people moan.
