  1. Mav should start. Ricardo should start. If he persists with leaving our best players out of the side he can fxxk off.
  2. More of that Fats.
  3. Awful goal to concede. JJ goes too late, leaves everyone in no man's land.
  4. Ayew wins a free kick within about 30 seconds.
  5. It seems very much like no striker that we want wants us, so that 5mill isn't getting us very far.
  6. I'd rather nobody and go false 9 with an attacking midfielder or Winger. We've got enough strikers who don't score now.
  7. We already signed him on a free.
  8. Already agreed with Napoli now. So guess we'll have to settle on Sterling and pay 10% of his 300k wage.
  9. It just looks to me that he wants a move, feel Genk are pricing him out of one, so he's agreed terms with a club to get the ball rolling on lowballing them. He's probably doing the whole strop thing where he's said give me my move, I'll never play for you again. Fofana style.
  10. On salary sport Vardys 2024 wage is reported as 80kpw as opposed to 160kpw in the 3 seasons prior.
  11. A number of sites, like spotrac for example, usually only list the value of a players initial contract. So some of them are a lot lower than their current status. Salary sport is generally pretty accurate.
  12. Spurs are looking to loan out Reguillon again. Could be pretty straight forward. *actually only 1 year left, so looking to sell more likely.
  13. That was his brother wasn't it?
  14. That guy nearside right must have killer thighs! Do you reckon they might loan us a few of those spare body parts they've got lying around (and hanging up)?
  15. The £8mill is what we were offering for a loan. Not sure why it's gotten mixed up with his taxes. With a signing on fee and his reported wages for a year it's just short of £6mill, so he'd have to pay tax on that presumably.
  16. Gonna be mental when we finally agree a price and find out he doesn't want to play for us.
  17. Could be a good foil for Vardy! 2 up top. Nugent, Ulloa and Okazaki. Nobody really prolific. This is what we call "reaching".
  18. He's going to be the outlet when we're desperately trying to hold onto a result I think. In a similar way Rodgers said that Vestergaard was brought in to see games out when holding onto something, though it did seem like bullshit he essentially said he was signed to sub in to hold onto a result. I think that's probably what Ayew is for. If we're 1 up or like Monday, holding on for a point, then you bring on Ayew, outball, gets fouled, free kick, relieves pressure high up the pitch rather than having it come straight back at you. Whether he's been signed for that niche is just speculation from me at this point.
  19. The new tax year isn't relevant. If his earnings for some portion of the prior tax year is deemed to have been earned whilst still a UK resident, irrespective of where he worked, then he will have to pay the unpaid tax in that year.
  20. But he has to pay something mental in unpaid uk tax on his last years earnings. That's the issue all along.
  21. Is anyone?
  22. He'll be doing this every week.
  23. Assume the £3mill difference is an addon for survival. In which case we're all hoping this is an £8mill deal!
