Tosin gave the ball away and made mistakes at the back, so that probably relegates him down the order. Gusto playing at LB gave it away for a goal too. That probably moves the 2nd choice right back out of the reckoning in that regard. So by playing his system he's seeing who's not up to it. Which is, like I say, the point.

He did look decent in yesterdays friendly. Perhaps he steps up with better players around him.

I watched the Spurs friendly earlier as well, and they looked shite as well tbf. Their goal came from a long ranger from Porro which should have been dealt with really. Otherwise they were disjointed, especially at the back. Though, they were against Bayern.
