God I hope not.

I don't think the solution is putting a predominantly right footed right back on the left in support of a guy being tasked with coming further inside. We call that "Southgating".
-
Ricardo on the left? With Mav coming inside?
-
Does that get us a discount?

Thought you were setting a trap. The other Gomes is 5! -
EFL manager of the season shortlisted by Man Utd to replace Ten Haag didn't get recognition.

Not well. Which is kind of the point isn't it? If he carries on when the season starts that's a different matter. Tosin gave the ball away and made mistakes at the back, so that probably relegates him down the order. Gusto playing at LB gave it away for a goal too. That probably moves the 2nd choice right back out of the reckoning in that regard. So by playing his system he's seeing who's not up to it. Which is, like I say, the point. -
He did look decent in yesterdays friendly. Perhaps he steps up with better players around him.
-
Surely when it comes to moving players on we've learned that options to buy aren't worth a shit? Obligation or fxxk off!
-
He's not though?

Or you play them and see if they can do it in your system in a preseason friendly? Whilst you're still getting to know the players and what their strengths/weaknesses are. -
Who would that be then?
-
Apparently they only want £10mill for him. Gotta be a dabble on that you'd think. But I think a few bigger clubs were linked to him when the season ended. Nothing seems to have come of that though.
-
Newly promoted teams are often seen as unattractive. At least until the players and agents realise that better offers aren't coming in from elsewhere.
-
He's actually been doing really well for them in preseason. Can see him staying. Though I doubt he'll be a regular starter for them, they'll go far in enough competitions that he'd get plenty of games.

Mines just switched to Arabic. -
Well at least he isn't going to be coming up against us making us regret not getting him.

He's got Gusto at LB and that's going how you'd expect. Also started with Lavia, Caicedo, KDH and Fernandez. Gusto just put in a great cross as I'm thinking wtf is he doing on the left! -

Is he? Or are his players being found out? Players at that level should be able to pass it around the back with ease. -
Well we know we're interested, Porto are interested and Rennes are interested. So we know there's at least 3. Then if you want to add the clickbait mafia in, that's West Ham, Everton and Southampton to add. Yeah. Lots.
-
Our sort of price range? Man City won't let him go for the 12 million Euros Transfermarkt has him down for. Man City get double that for players that haven't got minutes outside their u21s. For the money I'd be looking elsewhere. Wasn't impressed with him with his displays at Sheffield Utd last season. Hamer looked much better. And probably cost the same.

Don't give a shit about Nelson. I want Asprilla now though. And more links of that ilk. We should be getting the best the Championship has to offer. If not least because if we do go down they'll have at least proved themselves at that level. And the wages won't hurt so much.

I watched the Spurs friendly earlier as well, and they looked shite as well tbf. Their goal came from a long ranger from Porro which should have been dealt with really. Otherwise they were disjointed, especially at the back. Though, they were against Bayern.
