Literally our best pairing last season, but ok. -

Two number 10's! -
Well he was replaced at half time by Bergvall. However, he's faring no better and they went 2 down. Pedro Porro just got them one back.
-
Well Summerville is. Fullkrug could be an expensive flop given his cost and age.
-
He only played against us for a total of 36 minutes across both games last season.

Curious as to who we'll be pairing up at the back. Everyone is back now aren't they? -
-
Exactly. It's all a bit "I didn't listen to you and I didn't like what you had to offer". Total contradiction.
-
And also isn't his grandad (or any relation at all) and didn't kick the ad boards... Nevertheless!!!
-
His grandad is Temuri Ketsbaia? I can see the resemblance tbf...
-
Er, Ketsbaia? I think it's safe to say he didn't do it. Having not been conceived 26 years ago.

This is the kind of deal that makes perfect sense for us. Almost all outcomes are positive. If he's great and we get relegated, we have a Premier league standard player in the championship, or we sell for a profit. If he's good and we survive, everyone wins. If he's not up to it and we go down, he has performed well at championship level so he's good enough for our following season. If he's not great and we survive, we don't stress it and we can choose to persevere or if we want to part ways we can at least recoup half the fee selling him to Leeds for their next promotion push.
-
Definitely not a KDH replacement.
-
Or maybe, being a Watford player, he lives in or around London. Possibly. Or maybe he flies in from Bogota every week. Who can say?
-
He's played down the middle just as much as he has on the right wing. Given the players we've been linked with, Doak aside, they've all covered plenty of different positions in the front line. Additionally, even if we get him it doesn't mean we're finished in the market.
-
Has he really only got a year on his contract? You've got top Portuguese team, middle of the pack French team and bottom rung Premier League team. So on that basis we're losing the race. However, he's obviously based in England currently, so theoretically less upheaval. Ultimately most players want to play in the Premier League, albeit at the top end of it, but we then have the shop window element. Porto have CL football and (regular) trophy winning credentials. Not sure what value a Colombian puts in domestic trophies in Europe tbh. So it might all comes down to wages! And opportunity. If he's a right winger there's a lot of them already at Porto, they just made Conceicao permanent, so he's got stiff competition there. We're dryer than a nuns chuff, so he would get gametime here.

Club will probably sign Faustino Asprilla and Gareth Barry. Fits the age profile. AMIRITE???? New jokes...

I'm not sure Ipswich have improved as much as some people are making out. They've shored up the defence a bit. That's all. Delap is shit and Omari is a player they already had on loan last season so he's not improving them. Johnson, Muric and Greaves look solid additions, but nothing spectacular. Saints look a bit healthier. Diaz is a decent signing and the return of Onuachu after a good scoring season in Turkey is a boost. However the latter never scored when last in the PL and couldn't force his way into the starting 11 despite only having absolute pish in front of him. The defensive additions are pretty much all untested at the level. However from our end, the fact our squad is currently weaker than the one that got promoted is a major concern. 1 signing could put it on par (assuming we dismiss the change of manager) but it will take a few shrewd signings for us to look to have made any significant improvements. So I'd expect us to be in the mix for relegation. Which is fine. In the mix is better than down by Christmas! We were in the mix for the majority of 2014/15.

Galatasary have also been credited with an interest in Kalvin Phillips at Man City. Can't do both, surely.
-
Just one?
-
BANG! That’s how we get a new player!

You really think any of this mattered? -
Given the amounts Chelsea are throwing at any Brazilian yoot, we probably can't afford him!

Get Daka to Marseille! I don't know when I became his pimp, but it ain't easy.
