  1. Playing for QPR is pretty much the same thing anyway.
  2. Yes Ndidi. Holy shit, we're becoming Ned Flanders FC!
  3. Mav should probably do better there rather than going for the spectacular.
  4. Cooper wants Rik to know who's in charge.
  5. Check Daggers post and use the 3rd one down. Fatanews I think...
  6. Bit early for that. He might be playing all of them second half. Still working on fitness.
  7. Sara can and has played all the midfield roles...
  8. Not sure I see the number 10 in him that some have mentioned. Always looked an 8 or even a 6 to me. Reminds me of the Belgian Dembele who was good with the ball at his feet and you couldn't get it off him, but wasn't blessed with great pace. I think it would be a quality addition. He is versatile and productive.
  9. Same birthday as me and coincidentally the date we won the FA cup.
  10. Let's get Dele Alli as a free agent, bring in Skipp, hijack Fulhams Sessegnon deal and have a bunch of ex-spurs, win some silverware and add yet more to the list of players that left spurs and subsequently won a trophy.
  11. I think wages need to be factored in if you want perspective. Doubt any but the man city lad are getting anywhere near what Nelson is currently on. Incidentally we've got no perspective 'til we know what they want for him. I could be wetting my y-fronts over nothing.
  12. Well there's no arguing that.
  13. I think it's unfair on Okoli to put that down to anything other than trying to fit in with the lads after watching the first friendly.
  14. Must be. Mind you it probably doesn't help when you start a friendly and stick the ball in your own net cos you can't sort your feet out.
  15. Well he's free, his wages would be low and he kept Reiss Nelson out of the Arsenal side So why not?!
  16. He's on their tour as Slot wants to check out his options. So we'll all have to wait on that one.
  17. The problem for me isn't actually the player, despite my protestations. It's the VALUE in the player. If we were getting him for free or a low fee then I'd be game for it, but there's no way that's happening. This is why Arsenal gave him a new contract. It's like if someone offered us decent money for Soumare! They want someone else to pay for their mistake. The mistake in awarding a player they don't particularly want or need with a lucrative contract which now restricts them in the market.
  18. Not sure he's particularly shown much more than Yunus tbh, but Nelson will no doubt cost twice as much in a transfer fee and at least double the wage. And that's optimistic. If we're signing for cover then why pay more? Even if you do believe he's better, does he warrant what would likely be double the cost? Not that I'm advocating buying Yunus, but I'm also not advocating bringing in Reiss. It's quite strange to me how a guy who played in 15 matches last season (though only 257 minutes such is his importance) and didn't register a goal or assist is garnering such enthusiasm.
  19. Right, so what was wrong with Yunus then? Considerably cheaper. But presumably we want a better standard. So why Nelson?
  20. No, not really.
  21. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/fabio-carvalho/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/559263 Played more down the middle than anywhere else. Although we don't know Cooper wants a 10 yet do we?
  22. Cool, use the money on Summerville then. Or Carvalho. Or ...
  23. You're essentially playing the current back ups back up though.
  24. Essentially the club can fxxk him over by not letting him go and essentially freeze him out, but then all you do is tank his value so I can see them taking whatever Roma offer in the end. Depends how set on that move the lad is.
  25. Strange that after 7 years they haven't nurtured it then.
