Yes—this. I don’t think the circus from Saturday and Sunday is about using the Thai social media influencers to sell more shirts or even to sell tickets for preseason friendlies and stuff which a lot of folks are suggesting here. It’s to make King Power look good to the Thai government and their related business community so that King Power retains its charter and monopoly. Also, when things go bad for King Power/LCFC, they need the Thai gov’t to back them (see: “Thailand Smiles With You”). I’d imagine part of the massive Thai contingent was Top trying to look cool, and another part of it was trying to show Thai leaders and moguls (the ones that have access to the real money) what he thinks they wanted to see after relegation. Whether we have to like any of that or whether Top is doing a good job with this are two other questions, and I’ll just let my silence on these answers speak for itself 😂.

I’m a little worried that the last time our manager went to the board and extracted guarantees in order to stay, it was a short-term success but a long-term failure (Rodgers). I don’t think Maresca’s demands are going to be unreasonable and I don’t think what he wants and what Rodgers wanted when he signed his contract extension is an apples-to-apples comparison. However, I wonder if Top would see it that way.

It looks like we’re going off of the Tiro 24 Competition Match template: https://amp.footyheadlines.com/2706342295728910128/ and it looks like the home shirt has darker blue detailing along the sides This template has some room for some other shading or patterns along the main “flare” trim down the sides but I can’t quite tell if we have anything else going on there. I’m a sucker for retro/throwbacks and even if I didn’t like the 2002-03 shirts when they came out, I would definitely get a kick out of the marketing talk for the release saying our kit is supposed to evoke the 02-03 one.

Did the topic of data privacy come up when FT/UFS/LCFCSC met the club? If so, did the club give out any info about what companies they’re using to manage data gained from use of mobile tickets, whether the club/the e-ticketing company might sell this data, or anything else beyond what’s on the club’s current privacy policy?

I downloaded the app just because it probably has a better UI/UX than the website where I’m always clicking on an article link, hitting back after reading an article, and then being taken back to wherever I was before I went to LCFC.com because the article opened in some sort of pop up window.

Well, looks like Enzo was right after all! They had their huge game; we had our huge season. And after Leeds’ players took the piss out of Enzo for that comment, our club is giving it right back to Leeds and Leeds fans have completely lost their heads about it, which is something you can file under things you just love to see.

We wore this season’s shirts vs West Ham on the final day. Like any retail production cycle our designs will have already been approved well before they go on sale, so there must be other reasons for them not being unveiled for Saturday if they’re not shown then.

Where are the “WE’RE GOING UP!” banners? Do they not give those out anymore or are we getting them on Monday?

1) the club’s 22/23 financial report isn’t out yet but from whatever the EFL saw earlier this season, there’s cause for concern 2) I’m no Kieran Maguire or Swiss Ramble so I have to hold my hands up and say I’m not really sure. But if the P&S rules stay the same, I’d have to think so because 21/22 was an awful financial year and 22/23 probablt isn’t going to balance this out.
