Jordan Ayew Signs 2 year deal - Official
OwnGoal replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Bloke scores like one in 10 but timing is everything. Well done u bag of shit. We love u. -
There was a moment before the Stoke deal where we looked like selling him for the same sort of money we’ve paid for Ayew. I’m over the moon we loaned him out instead.

Bournemouth (H) Pre match thread (05.10.24, 3pm)

These used to turn us over when we was good. Couldn’t even beat them the season we won the league. So I’m saying we probably go and smash them now we are dogshit. -
My present big pet hate. Selfish as well tootling along at 40 as even harder for cars behind to merge safely. My other big pet hate presently is the cars that get in the third right lane at the start of the M69 at j21 and then saunter slower than the other two lanes when the lights change to green making whole merge into the two lanes of the 69 a virtual nightmare for the cars behind them.
-
Deffo became my massive pet hate. So much easier if u are travelling at 60 plus for traffic on the main carriageway to accommodate you than if you are travelling at 40. Then god help us cars struck behind you trying to merge at 40.
-
People who crawl along on the slip road to merge onto motorways or busy A roads. Getting in the A46 today at Groby heading towards M1. Car in front going 30mph as we are ready to merge on with traffic on the carriageway doing 65-70. Seriously dangerous. Get your speed up you clown.

3 games in, 1 point, overall assessment …
OwnGoal replied to Nolucklcfc's topic in Leicester City Forum
We’ve looked very poor at 0-0 in all three games. Looked like a team who’d struggle to win 5 or 6 games all season. Chasing the game after conceding as offered a little bit of hope. Whether we’ll be able play like that against an opposition who aren’t winning is the key going forward. Last twenty on Saturday with more attacking players on we look more than capable of staying up. Will we still look dangerous though if we start with that setup or will we get picked off being to adventurous. Next two games will tell us loads more. -
Tom Cannon - loan to Stoke City - Official
OwnGoal replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Hope he scores 25 goals. -
For the money involved I’d much rather he was loaned out than sold. Imagine him score 20 plus goals this season for Hull or Stoke etc. He would then sort us out next season when we are relegated. I can’t believe he de values much from 5mill in the next year no matter what happens. Surely loads more up side to keeping him.
-
One of life’s stranger happenings. Looked a great bit of business when he played last season. Looked like developing into a prem striker in what we saw. However, neither manager seems keen at all on him and a season out on loan may show him to not be quite what we hoped for. Alternatively, he might go and bag 25 goals for a top end championship side and double his worth in the process.
-
He’s certainly a big runner in any “Leicester’s worst ever signings” poll.
-
This must have been in the pipeline well before the surprise news of last weekend. I find it hard to believe we’ve got this all done and dusted in such a short time.
-
I thought at the time when Leeds shit housed that win over us at Elland Road that their behaviour and reaction after the game was reminiscent of Arsenal the season we won the league. It was like they thought the job was done. A total over reaction to a lucky 3 points. Where any neutral fan watching would have been in no doubt who the better side was. A few weeks later it’s quite pleasing now watching that over reaction back.
-
Probably wait till Man City finally get off to flyer in the league and and are 10 points clear in November. Then dock them 8 points and say that’s it we’ve punished them. A bit like Everton and Forest this season. Getting the fines when they are going to make no difference and there’s no dangers of legal proceedings wrangling on for months and causing further issues as to who’s won and who’s relegated etc.
-
Everything we don’t need. Will still want a wage above his value and I’d question his hunger. We need new blood. I’d rather see young hungry lads playing above the likes of him and Daka who have absolutely stolen a living for two years off us.
-
Entertaining listening to the Birmingham fans moaning at Leicester sending them down
-
It’s not Luton but Burnley who are most likely to reel them in. As long as they match results between now and the last game we will have a great last day. Burnley play Forest. Just need Burnley to stay within the present 2 point gap.
-
Struggling to think who in England will offer him more money than what we would offer him. People mention him going to Wednesday but the sort of money they’d offer isn’t more than we’d happily still offer him. I can’t see any prem league teams making an offer we wouldn’t be willing to match either. So unless he goes abroad it’s most likely he starts next season with us.
-
Requesting 1/10 now to be promoted on the exchanges. I’d love it to be us and Ipswich going up with Leeds failing in the play offs.
-
Looks like he gets us up now but he’s not the man going forward for me. Ideally he leaves of his own accord in the summer but he’ll be a massive runner to be first manager sacked if he stays. Can’t see him being given long if we start badly next season. We will never really know whether we would have done better with a different manager or whether Enzo has done wonders so it’s a really open to opinion subject.
-
Two full backs on the bench and we play without a proper one and are getting ripped.
-
Enzo hopefully playing mind games. They all play be cool now.
-
Obviously no good if a sell out but when I go tigers these days I basically buy the cheapest ticket I can and then when game kicks off I’ll look for empty seats in better areas. I’ve often bought a standing ticket then finished bang behind the posts high up in a seat which was trading for twice the price. In fact one game last season I even swapped ends at half time to be behind the goal Tigers were attacking. Just look confident and the stewards will never quiz u.
-
None of this scared to lose crappy football we’ve fell into playing. Start at a high tempo and blitz them. Be more direct and let players gamble at beating a man. Don’t be scared to lose the ball in their half. You don’t need to play 78 passes in order to score. Don’t wait till you’re a goal behind and there’s ten mins left, with the opposition time wasting most of that, before you start playing.
-
Seriously think that team and setup would have been promoted by now.
