Defence is poor but no way those keepers you listed concede five at Brighton or six yesterday. We probably lose both games but not conceding 5 and 6.

I know he made a decent save late in the first half when he touched one onto the bar but he simply needs to make more good saves at this level. None of the goals were purely his fault but he’s let five in then followed it a week later with six. Meanwhile the French lad at the other end has made two massive game changing saves, one on half time from Madders and the Daka header. Them saves were huge yesterday.

Iverson must be wondering what he needs to do to get a gig. Did well in the penalty shootout a few weeks back and then watches the first choice concede a bagful game after game.

There was the Everton game where VAR gave them a penalty during covid. Yes Wilf handballed it but just prior to that I think it was Calgar was literally taken out by one of their players which resulted in the subsequent hand ball.

If I remember as well they even gave Man City a handball peno just to really take the piss.

That was nothing compared to the fist to the face Nacho took in that game.

You just can’t compete with the big clubs long term. Every single signing we make needs to be spot on. As soon as we sign a couple of duds we are in trouble. At least when it’s all over we can look at a trophy cabinet with three recent acquisitions in there.
