Whole dynamics changed now. A slight chance of victory if we bat well. No longer purely batting for a draw.

Watched most of the play yesterday. Every batsman got in, bowling looked hard work. Logic says this should be a fairly boring draw if conditions don’t change massively. Probably be after lunch when we get to bat. Bat till teatime tomorrow minimum and we should be fine.

No idea what wages he’s on but he will be more than good enough for us next season playing left back.

Can’t see us being able to get rid so stuck with him next year. I do feel he will be an handy person to bring on when we are winning late on in a game, something we should be doing a lot more next season, just killing time etc but he’s expensive for what he offers.

Thursday night football will kill Forest next season. Relying heavily on Chris Wood goals and they’ve massively overachieved and got lucky this season. 16th at best next season and if Leeds start well and end this promoted teams going down shite then Forest could drop themselves.

When this lad as a bad game he’s absolutely woeful.

Ideally we can sell his mate Winks in the summer and recoup some of what we wasted buying his not so good mate. But the not so good mate should be okay for us in the Championship playing the Winks role.

He’s a neat and tidy player who will look good in a decent side, like we were in the championship. However, in a struggling side with no match winners he really offers nothing. Can’t score, create many chances, win tackles or win headers and isn’t quick.

We paid money for him as well. Players like him are freebies at the end of their career.

At one stage I thought we were going to challenge the ladies team and better their defeat from last week and concede 100.

When your opponent is better class than you you’ve got to attempt to play the game where it’s almost a different sport. Rough the pitch up, make playing pretty football impossible. Make yourself horrible to play against. Be direct. Or we can just idly play in the same manner as our opponents who are better than us and wait for them to finally pick us off.
