As some else here has already said, it's the execution not the concept. Head is playing the most Baz like of Bazball - he is taking on some very risky shots. But it's coming off. And we're also reverting to the short ball too often - that's something that needs addressing, though our bowlers did so well yesterday, I don't want to put them in the firing line.

Glad it's starting - I'm getting tired of the dumb comments by former and current players. And I would have thought Monty didn't need to run his mouth off in advising the England team via an interview with some gambling site to come up with such quality quips as "I don't think he played the game fairly" to rile the Aussies. Just surprised Smith referenced Mastermind and not Monty's admissions that he used sweetened saliva, sun cream and a zip to change the appearance of the ball in his own book. Apparently that sort of ball tampering's ok because it isn't cheating, it's bending the rules. Like I said, thank god it starts soon and hopefully there'll be less of this dumb nonsense. If you're going to try and sledge do it properly, on the field and with some degree of wit.
