I might be completely off here, but it's annoyed me hes not playing next week and in his interviews he keeps saying he can do it at the top level. It's all as if this year is nothing to do with him, and for large parts he's been beyond shit. And he's been club captain in the worst season I've ever seen. Maybe I haven't got the memo, and I've absolutely loved him in the past 13 years but this whole weekend is tone deaf from the club and him tbh.
