100% agree, it's a chance from 6 yards out that we should be scoring from, either Thomas finishing near post or crossing to Daka or Bobby for a tap in, but Thomas didn't do either or show any composure. Even with a perfect cross I wouldn’t have much confidence in Daka scoring either, he'd probably miss-hit tamely into the keepers arms.
-
Based on the still image and the keeper standing in the middle of the goal he should be scoring near post in that huge space. Instead it looks like he tried to cross from his body position and technique but excuted it poorly.

The Rangers fans don't share that opinion on Rohl!! I'm not here to debate the merit over Rohl or Marti, we had the chance to appoint Rohl in the summer and didn't. We need to give a manager more than 10 games, we've chopped and changed and its done the club absolutely no good. Last time I looked we're 4th, about where we should be without a goal scorer. We're going to struggle to finish teams of this season because of it. Ayew isn't a striker, Carranza is new to English football and unproven in European football whilst Daka is just Daka, scores 1 in 5.

Totally agree, it's not done Watford any good and they've gone back to their most successful manager of recent times in Javi Gracia. Forest messed up sacking Nuno, appointing and sacking Ange. If they appoint one of Dyche, Mancini or Benitez they'll all be worse than Nuno, hopefully resulting in relegation. Rohl has done nothing to suggest he's any better than Marti.... We've made our appointment, he's had 10 games, 6 since the window shut and needs more time. The club has wasted so much money on compensation for failed managers we need to stick with him. And to top it all the incompetence of the Dof means we don't have a striker worthy of the description, yet somehow it's all Marti's fault.
-
Need to change the title of the post, we don't have anyone worthy of the description 'striker' and will be the reason we don't get promoted this season.
-
Shame he doesn't have the balance of Johanes, Daka can't even walk without falling over😂
-
23 goals in 128 games for us, it's not happening, but yes. I just want him and his stupid wage out of the club.
-
That depends, if that scoring run result in promotion and Daka leaving on a free, I'd be over the moon. But if Rudkin offered him a new contract on the back of it then I would be absolutely gutted😂 I don't see it happening though.
-
I think we all getting carried away with Daka, no amount of games trying to build his confidence will result in a decent goal return, he's absolutely shit. We've lowered our expectations so far all we're expect from our strikers is to run about a bit, press and put themselves about. We may as well play the fastest physical lump we can find on a Sunday morning and they'll still be more of a goal threat than this fraud. The upturn in performances is down to JJ, Winks and Ricky P starting instead of Hamza and Skippmare, nothing to do with Daka.
-
I'm struggling with the choice of words, Daka doesn't make the team better, but he's not preventing our better players performing unlike Ayew.
-
Our strikers are not good enough, and the fact that Daka is starting is worrying for our promotion chances.
-
So what's a defender supposed to do, never tackle because its giving the ref a decision to make. Its about time these fcuking useless refs were banned, it's a professional game and they should be better.
-
And missing the ****ing hole
-
Never a penalty shocking decision from the ref who should be banned for making such a poor call. It's about time these fcuking useless refs got punished.
-
We're lacking a key position in a goal scorer, 16 shots last night and 1 on target.
-
He's quality in this division and needs to play his way back into form. He was more involved against Cov but In our previous games, with Skippmare in midfield so much of our play has gone down the right which could explain why he's low on confidence.

Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!
trooky replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
The starting team has been in transition whilst the window was open and I fully understand Marti starting Ayew, with Soumare, Skipp, Okoli, Page and Hamza struggling to progress the ball and beat the press. We've need all of Ayew's battling qualities during this period. His attitude, work rate, hold up play, strength and professionalism has been excellent and been one of our top performers In the next few weeks, when Winks, James, Ricky and Faes get upto speed and start to control and dominate possession I think we'll see Carranza start and Ayew competing with Ramsey for the 10. Ayew will still be the 2nd choice striker or 1st if Carranza isn't as good as we hope. Daka is 3rd choice and the sooner he fcuks of the better because his time here has been a disaster. -
We've needed Ayew's battling qualities for the start of this season when we've played Soumare, Skipp, Paige, Hamza and Okoli when we've be unable to beat the press and progress the ball. Give it a few more games of decent football like the middle part of the game yesterday with Winks, Ricky and James running the show then I think we'll see Carranza start.
-
I also thought the same.
-
Daka has been tried and failed miserably in his time at the club.
-
Despite being 0-0, I thought this was a very encouraging display and bodes well for the future.
-
I don't think it's a cancer to the game, but if the owners / DOFs have any sense they won't employ any of these managers again. Russ Martin must be on his last job at Rangers when they eventually sack him.
-
Not a thought I needed on Sunday morning, Wilder and the bedroom. 🤮
-
Hopefully by the start of October, Winks and James start in midfield, Ricky at RB, play Ayew as 10 and start Carranza up top. Depending how that goes and if we still struggle to play our from the back I would drop Okoli for Faes, he's a solid defender but pants on the ball.
-
His obsession with Ayew is he's the best we have. Daka is finished at this club, Carranza is new and an unknown quantity.
