Its early days but yesterday the starting line up found it very difficult to play forward thru the press, they only managed once from memory, so I would like them to do this more than once in a game entire. We might have quality, we'll see on Friday, but the current squad will struggle to score goals IMO

I thought Thomas was very weak in the tackle today and was a defensive liability. Jacob, Okoli had good games and Choudhury adds a bit of bite. Vesty is just too slow for such a high line and not keen on him. The whole back 4 and 2 defensive midfielders are very negative on the ball, always take the safe option. The only time in the whole match they were able to pass forward thru the press was for the goal. Page and Monga are learning all the time, Fatawu is very inconsistent but along with Monga and Mavididi the only players capable of a bit of magic. Ayew is infuriating, We look like an average mid-table championship team who will struggle to score goals.

Disagree, Ayew had plenty of opportunities to pass to the wingers today but just choose to hold onto it and wait for the foul. First game against Wednesday 2nd half he could have played Mavididi in who cut inside for a free shot on goal but choose not to. Preston last week, he could have pulled the ball back, to Winks inside the 18 yard line but again choose to cut back and shot from a very tight angle. He's the best we have a present but for someone who holds up play well he never passes, just waits for foul, he needs to do more.

Yes I agree, he just doesn't pass and never looks like passing. I think he's the lesser of 2 evils, and agree with him starting at present. We desperately need a proper striker, Ayew would be good to bring on late when we need to kill the game.

He's certainly not at the level of Omari Hutchinson as his direct replacement but it's a strange decision from us to sell him to what would be considered a promotion rival before the season started. Interesting to see if we do any incoming business before the window shuts.

Its not misleading in anyway, watch the game highlights again. He flings his arm up, never even looks at Monga once let alone celebrate with him. When Fatawu is celebrating with Monga and sprinting back to the half way line, Daka is still walking in the penalty area. He has some weird macabre expression on his face. With the exception of Fatawu the whole teams reaction to Monga's first senior goal and the urgency to restart the game was a disgrace and speaks volumes to the team spirit and commitment in this squad.

I thought Daka's reaction was the worst after Monga scored, he didn't even look at him never mind celebrate with him. After, when Monga rushed to get the ball out of the net and run back to the halfway line celebrating with Fatawu, Daka was just sauntering back with a dazed look.

We had 12 months of garbage and no real hope of staying in the Premier league. Last season we should have just concentrated on trying to move on as many high earners as possible to solve the wage bill as quickly as possible and battle relegation with pride instead of some half arsed attempt to invest in the squad we can't afford. The board made mistakes over paying on wages, but what I don't understand is why they continue to make the same mistakes. How do we end up with Winks on £90k in the championship, who on earth thought Skipp was worth £20 + million, why get Okoli when we've just extended Vestergaard's contract. It was only £3mil but why buy Woyo another full back. I'll support Marti and his team 100% whilst he's here. I'm grateful he's got the character and courage to accept this challenge and work for the shit show that is King Power and Rudkin.

Don't see anything wrong with Fatawu's post, he's just asking for more support what's wrong with that? It shows he genuinely cares about the club and results.

I've no idea if Winks hates the club or doesn't care. He looked annoyed with Ayew when he didn't pull the ball back to him unmarked in the box with a free instead of cut back and shooting from an impossible angle.
