I think we need a sacrificial lamb, or Rudkin so we can unite behind a new DOF and move forward. Turning on the players isn't going to help us.
-
Yeah I was going to make this point, he's at the level of his transfer fee

Sorry I'll bow to your superior knowledge on the topic. IMO he has nothing to gain from it though, fan groups don't represent the polarised opinions and pure hatred of a forum like ours. It doesn't matter what he does or says he won't change certain people's opinion. I'm not sure if booing his goal was done in jest, but who in their right mind boos a player when he scores the winner? These are all professionals players and to suggest they deliberately **** up and don't try is ridiculous. They're are many aspects and reasons why they don't perform. He had Soumare playing in front of him most of last year, so he's going to make mistakes. Soumare isn't deliberately lazy either, Ruud got more out of him last year than most of our managers, but his game just doesn't suit our football, he switches off, the pace of the British game is just too fast for him. Successful organisation don't have a blame culture. We just need to move on from this negativity and hating players and move forward as a club and get behind Cifuentes. Now you can laugh at that if you want😂

According to reports we still want to shift 6 players before we think about replacements. Hopefully it's Faes and not Nelson who departs in August. I'm not happy getting relegated but Cif will need to be a genius to break that cycle short-term, £150 million wasn't enough to keep Ipswich up, and we certainly don't have anywhere near that money to spend.
-
Not in that context
-
Yes it will get laughed at😂, it's never happened in the history of modern football.
-
Hopefully he picks all the youth, it will be a good test and we'll see if they're as good as everyone thinks.
-
It works both ways this, Vesty was ostracised by Rodgers, the manager who signed him in preference for Amartey and even Ndidi at CB. Players make mistakes, they don't deliberately play poorly, Enzo got the best out of his players, Cooper and Ruud didn't with a squad that wasn't equipped for the premier league.
-
Any new manager would be stupid not to start with the players that have already been promoted from this division before. I personally think Nelson and Monga will feature plenty this year, and Cif would like to transition more youth players if they're good enough over the course of the season and we're doing well. Faes has done nothing at this club to warrant the abuse he got yesterday and showed good character to score the winner, he's proven at this level, along with Vesty which is all we need this season. We need 4 centre backs, so It would be pointless having to replace Vesty and Faes this season with championship quality replacements on 3 year deals when our long term aim is the premier league stability. We need need to move on from all this negativity, let the manager do his job and support Leicester to get out of this division.
-
This negativity from our fans towards certain players will end up costing us this season.
-
I don't know why anyone thought it would be easy today. Sheff Wed were also going to make it difficult, the first game, a fans protests, live on Sky, the players commitment being questioned in the media. Their new manager was also going to get them motivated in this scenario We wore them down with 75% possessions and 28 shots so a decent win in the circumstances.
-
Cif isn't going to fix several season's problems after 1 game.
-
It would be farcical if we're hit with any kind of points deduction and Sheff Wednesday get away unpunished having continually payed wages late and having an un-safe stadium.
-
And 8 shots on target against him!!
-
Kante, Mahrez and prime Vardy
-
Maybe, but the end goal is still promotion. We're not blessed with excess transfer funds or room in our PSR limits to just go and sign replacement players and ostracize them like Man Utd. So unfortunately we still need some of this dog shit to achieve our goal. We need to support Cifuentes and Leicester and understand he's playing them out of necessity and not choice.
-
Ndidi also relegated twice, Winks relegated once and fell out with the last manager after refusing to stop at the training ground, so based on those arguments we're not playing many of the current squad. Its not his fault who he's inherited and all their baggage. Until we sell the unwanted player's who want out and Cifuentes gets his own players in, unfortunately he doesn't have much choice to play some of them. We're not starting a team of 16 years and getting promoted which is the target.
-
With a new manager everyone has a clean slate, and with a current choice of Ndidi, Winks, Skipp or Soumare in the double pivot he will feature whether we like it or not.
-
If that was the case we wouldn't have signed the twat.
-
No

He's 16 just out of the academy, were the results don't matter, and it's all about producing individual talents and skills. He'll learn to develop his end product, the pressing etc in the first team all in good time.
-
I'm not comparing him to Ronaldo. It's too early to predict Monga's career and if he fulfills his talent. I was highlighting that Ronaldo was criticised for trying to many tricks at the start of his United career without an end product which was the topic of the original post.
-
Not putting any pressure on him or comparing him to Ronaldo. Just using the reference of Ronaldo when he joined United and the fact he was criticised for trying to many tricks without an end product.
-
Christ he's 16, remember Ronaldo we he first came to United? His career turned out alright!
-
Maybe they will, but it wasn't going to happen before the new manager had chance to make his own mind up on them.
