  1. Dreadful, it took the first 50 to get the ball under control. 😂
  2. The board have gone to such lengths to avoid a points deduction this season and stay in the Premier league. Its a shame someone didnt send the memo to the first team because they've failed miserably and let the side down.... This whole episode has just been a total waste of time, effort and no doubt money that we don't have. 🤔
  3. Our long term aim is stability in the Premier league, this guy has already proved he can't manage in the PL so what the **** is the point of his appointment.... More wasted money when we sack him after 12 games back in the PL. Top and Rudkin must really like groundhog day
  4. And he dropped down to Spurs😂
  5. Not you being dense, that's exactly how it works. The PL are not fit to govern, they abuse their power to suit their own agenda. Its incredulous you can change the rules a month ago to close a loophole and then apply it too accounts submitted 31/12 /24. I guess we ****ed up massively by submitting the accounts past the deadline, which is why the tribunal found in their favour over the jurisdiction for our particular case. At the end of the day we've overspent and tried every trick going to avoid punishment. The first team never read the memo though and failed miserably, so it's all been a total waste of time and effort.
  6. I believe they were banking on still being in the premier league and the PL not having jurisdiction again for our Y24 accounts because were in the championship. But the premier league changed their rules last month and the recent tribunal upheld the rule change giving them jurisdiction on the Y24 accounts from the championship.
  7. The most staggering aspect of all this is the belief the board had in Cooper and the squad to avoid relegation. They've deliberately submitted Y24 accounts late to avoid a points deduction this season and postpone the punishment until next season.
  8. Not my original post, but the club's 100% at fault and heads should roll internally. Despite that I don't want us to be punished. I would defend us to the hilt because the PL is equally incompetent makes the rules up to suit it's own agenda and allows clubs like Chelsea to sell their Hotel, women's football team to their own holding company to comply with PSR. We made the PL look foolish and they're trying to destroy us.
  9. Chelsea's women's team was effectively sold to the club's parent company, BlueCo, for a reported £198.7 million to help the men's team comply with the Premier League's Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR). The £198.7 million profit from the sale helped Chelsea report a pre-tax profit of £128.4 million for the year ending June 30, 2024. This, in turn, allowed them to comply with the Premier League's PSR, which limits losses over a three-year period.
  10. And makes it even more incompetent to waste £20 million on Skipp
  11. The board has ****ed up and heads need to roll. That said, it's still not right the leagues can conspire after the financial breach and change there rules to retrospectively punish us because their rules weren't fit for purpose at the time.
  12. How can the premier league bring charges against us for an EFL competition. Surely it's the EFLs job to bring the charges. Its just vindictive and ridiculous they can write new laws to punish historic financials because their rules were broken at the time. They give Man U a £40 million COVID allowance and allow Chelsea to sell its Women's team to itself to comply. They're just corrupt and not fit to govern.
  13. He's not totally overrated after taking Ipswich to successive promotions. The gulf is huge between the championship and Premier league, he may have spent £100 million but how many premiership quality players will that actually buy. The only player they have who will stay in the PL is Delap, all the other signings were good championship players. If he's spent £500 million on the squad and was still relegated then you'll have a point.
  14. We need to start the Sean Dyche released 11 thread for the start of next season😂
  15. If we get Dyche, Ashley Young will be his first signing on a free because he's being released by Everton 😂
  16. Appointing Russell Martyn, the sacked manager from the worst team in the league would be worse
  17. Yes I think they've also been under used because the defence and chances against has been abysmal, so they've paid the price because they're the least defensive of the players listed.
  18. The squad is woeful, Ruud has tried many attacking combinations but under used Facundo and Mavididi IMO. Out of 24 games Bilal started all 24, Facundo 5, McAteer 7, Ayew 12, Mavididi 9, Decordova-Reid 7, Vardy 23 and Daka 5
  19. Yes, nobody has got a tune. They've been on mute all season
  20. Yes it's the same people replacing the striker as the manager 😂
  21. With a board that's appointed Dean Smith, Maresca, Cooper and RVN since they sacked Rodgers do you have any confidence they'll get the next appointment right if we're only being linked with out of work managers. The championship is even shitter than us even with Ruud in charge. If Sheffield are promoted then none of the existing teams left have the parachute payments which is huge. Until Rudkin has gone and the club changes from top to bottom appointing a new manager will change nothing. We need a complete reset otherwise we'll never break the cycle of relegation and promotion.
  22. I think we'll still have a mixture of emotions running through the fanbase even with a new manager that isn't Dyche or Martin until at least Rudkin has gone. The gulf between the relegated teams and the championship is now huge, if Sheffield are promoted via the playoffs then there won't be any existing championship teams receiving parachute payments. Ruud hasn't done enough but regardless of the manager we'll be too strong for the championship. If our finances are that tight and we're only looking at out of work managers then I would save on the compensation and strengthen the first team unless of course we replace Rudkin. We'll loose players, but as long as we keep Nelson, Thomas, Coady, James, Fatawu, Mavididi, McAteer, Skipp and Winks we'll have a good nucleus for the championship along with Monga, Alves, Evans, Golding Stolarczyk and Woyo. We don't like them but even Ayew and BDR will be good in the championship Last time we were relegated we recruited very well and I think we'll still attract better players than most teams in the division.
  23. I meant Ipswich and Southampton will be challenging at the top of the Championship next season, and we've just beaten them. I don't want a new manager until Rudkin has gone, I would rather keep the devil you know because Rudkin and Top are clueless. Since they sacked Rodgers, we've had Dean Smith, Maresca, Cooper and RVN. We're just wasting more and more money on compensation without any direction or long term plan. It needs to change at the very top first.
  24. Did alright with Bilal, Fatawu and Mavididi though
  25. You have no idea what players Ruud would sign, he hasn't had a window.
