  1. Yes winning is a habit, the same as losing regardless of the opposition. I think we should play a full strength team and beat QPR so we've got some positive form going into the Palace game. We can hopefully makes changes and bring on a few prospects when we're comfortably winning in the 2nd half.
  2. I don't understand why the EFL are so vindictive and obsessed with bankrupting their member clubs. They're justing making the gulf wider between the PL and EFL and creating 17 permanent members of the PL and the 3 promoted EFL teams.
  3. I'd play the first team so we can hopefully win, get some momentum and confidence because we sure need it.
  4. Yes we've been lucky all season, Mads has won our 14 points on his own. 4pts in 7 is where we are at the moment. We're a newly promoted championship team with a shit squad, shit DoF, novice manager and going down unless he can work miracles which is still more hope than we had under Cooper.
  5. Yes, great post and totally agree nothing changes until Rudkin goes. I thought the club was supposed to have learnt after the Rodgers debacle and they had a new strategy and succession plan which started with Enzo? Unfortunately the new plan ended with the panic appointment of Cooper, who's the polar opposite of Enzo. At least Ruud is more aligned with Enzo but needs time, even if it's in the EFL.
  6. Well it shows you how clueless you are Coops, you played Ward 3 times in the league cup😂, must be the boyo luv eh!
  7. I've kept them for myself, I wouldn't waste them on you Coops.
  8. Fair enough, I'm the opposite I'm more confident with Ruud at the helm. I'm not blaming Ruud for picking Ward either because Cooper would gave done the same. He played him in 3 league Cup games so blaming Ruud for this is ridiculous, he was the regonized back-up keeper. At least he learnt from the mistake quickly and dropped him from the squad completely which I'm not convinced Cooper would have done.
  9. Only because he was sacked before, the club was already on a downward spiral and it would only have been a matter of time. Cooper has done nothing in his career to suggest he would have gained points away to Newcastle, Liverpool, Villa or at home to Man City so stop trying to claim the recent run of results under him would have been any different. We're conceding too many goals from individual mistakes in defence which is costing us. Mads alone has been responsible for our 14 points because he's been performing miracles in goal.
  10. Against champions league teams in Newcastle, Liverpool, Man City and Villa with a reserve keeper and no Fatawu, Ndidi or Ricky P. The only thing Cooper had going for him was luck and he's used it all up for the season gaining 10 points in 12 games. Considering the injuries and run of games 4 points from 7 isn't that bad. The only real blip was the Wolves game which was totally on Ward who would still have player under Cooper. I'm more confident under RVN than Cooper because at least he has a tactical plan whilst Cooper offered nothing and relied on luck which was already on the turn before he was sacked.
  11. Not sure the players share that opinion when they got him the sack with their complete lack of respect towards him.
  12. Apart for the assist on Barkley's goal.
  13. And he also had Mads in goal for every game playing like a super hero, remember that
  14. Undone by two individual defensive mistakes yet again.
  15. I'm guessing we didn't budget for sacking Cooper in this year's accounts either. I'll be amazed if we escape a points deduction because the cretins of the PL will be gunning for us after their humiliation in the summer.
  16. Ruud is better than Cooper and we'll have more chance of attracting better players under him than Cooper in January We've shipped goals under Cooper with Faes and Okoli in defence, the same with RVN partnering Vesty and Coady. Let's face it we're shit but I am much more optimistic with RVN at the helm than Cooper.
  17. Wolves was on Ward 100%, we had more shots, possession and shots on target than Wolves, but unfortunately we had an absolute **** in goal. RVN did what any new manager would do, he played the senior player. At least he's dropped him from the squad after 1 start, just hope he now plays Okoli instead of Coady against Villa.
  18. Can't believe Coady for the 2nd goal, his starting position on Haaland was good and then just decides to run away from him and mark a near post space as the cross is played.
  19. Absolutely no debate between Jakub and Ward, he's infinitely better. A cardboard cutout has more athleticism than Ward, he's stolen a living as a professional footballer.
  20. JJ was marking Silva in the middle when Foden shot. JJ has been piss poor all season but don't blame him for Jakob's mistake. If JJs starting position was that wide marking Savinho we would all have been slating him for that. Buonanotte should have been out there covering Savinho. He got absolutely no help from Buonanotte all game who just drifts inside and plays as a 10, even in defence.
  21. Hard to judge the performance because Man City have been so poor recently, El Khannous was excellent, Soumare has been good recently but we desperately need a defence. Coady has to be dropped for Okoli, who should play along side Vesty for his passing ability and composure on the ball. Unfortunately whilst Vesty is good on the ball, he's too slow for the Premier league. I would like a new RB, a faster version of Vesty and a RW in January.
  22. El Khannous has been class in this match
  23. Not sure why Coady is so deep marking space on the goal
  24. Need new RB, LB and CB
