Total contrast in Fatawu's effort tracking back compared to Soumare's for United's 3rd goal. Don't know why we persist with this clown when he can't be bothered with the defensive side, which is critical for a DM.

Fatawu is young and may be inconsistent but he always had at least 2 playing defending him. He has a very high ceiling and has to start, he's superior in every aspect to Ayew or BDR.

The goals we conceded were all individual mistakes and preventable . Buonanotte should not been taking players on in our own box, but JJ's clearance was terrible that lead to the goal. Winks pass to Fatawu was the correct pass but Fatawu doesn't make the run and not switched on at the start of the 2nd half. For me Okoli, Faes and Mads are all at fault for the third, none of them are set for a simple long ball. Cooper picked the correct team, first half was good but created nothing in the match other than the goal and undone by individual mistakes.

Finally

Just don't get the modern day manager trying to be clever and over complicate tactics to create an overload with ineffective players. Just keep it simple and attack with proper attackers and defend with proper defenders. Play to the players strength.
