From what I heard (from a reputable journalist) pearson would come back in a heartbeat but club havent spoken to him at all - think owynn also reported this. Think there is some 'beef' between pearson and the hierarchy after Whelan departure. Always got the impression Pearson was close with Whelan and Vichai, not Top and Rudkin.

Bade Aluko was thrown into a game against one of the best teams *on paper* after having played 0 minutes all season in the first team.. and out of position (his favoured position is right back). That red card was what you get when you dont bring someone in slowly but instead throw him in the deep end in the big game. If Aluko had been given some minutes earlier in the season like Page and Monga had, he would have probably been slightly more up to speed and not made those mistakes.. Also its worth mentioning he got absolutely stitched up by Abdul on the counter twice who gave the ball away needlessly. Luke Thomas is no way a better defender than Bade Aluko. If Thomas was in Aluko's position that game, he wouldnt have even got near the winger to foul him!

Surely spending a couple mil on sacking him is easily rectified by a player sale pre-june 30th? Fatawu, Mavididi, VK, Faes etc... Surely one, if not multiple, of them will be departing this summer.

Agree with what someone else wrote here earlier... If we don't sack him tomorrow, it is clear that we're absolutely cooked financially.

We can all see that every game he is here, the closer we are to League 1.. Which is exactly why they probably won't sack him. They simply can't see what we do. I was thinking the other day, how much do Top and Rudkin ACTUALLY know about football??? I can't stand Rugby. Never watched it and never given it any of my time. If I sat and watched a game, I wouldn't be able to tell you who played well or who deserved to win. Is it the same for these guys? Do they just not see what us football fans see? Its so hard to tell sometimes.
