From what I heard (from a reputable journalist) pearson would come back in a heartbeat but club havent spoken to him at all - think owynn also reported this. Think there is some 'beef' between pearson and the hierarchy after Whelan departure. Always got the impression Pearson was close with Whelan and Vichai, not Top and Rudkin.

Bade Aluko was thrown into a game against one of the best teams *on paper* after having played 0 minutes all season in the first team.. and out of position (his favoured position is right back). That red card was what you get when you dont bring someone in slowly but instead throw him in the deep end in the big game. If Aluko had been given some minutes earlier in the season like Page and Monga had, he would have probably been slightly more up to speed and not made those mistakes.. Also its worth mentioning he got absolutely stitched up by Abdul on the counter twice who gave the ball away needlessly. Luke Thomas is no way a better defender than Bade Aluko. If Thomas was in Aluko's position that game, he wouldnt have even got near the winger to foul him!
