Realistic Managerial Replacements

Its going to be Ole GS at Utd. -
There have been plenty of self-interested presidents, but agreed he is certainly ahead on his shameless willingness to enrich himself and his family while in office. That said, the more I read on the Venezuela situation, the more it seems clear this is more about separating them from China / Russia than the oil opportunity. It is in no way clear that the oil is either cost effective to bring back online or material enough in quantity to move the needle on price all that much. On the other hand another Putin Ally is gone, and China oil agreements may well be ripped up.

Absolutely. Drunk idiots gonna drunk idiot I guess.

I am pretty sure the first Big Ben bong is the hour, not the 12th one, and not the stuff before it.

The point is there is a different response to Trump doing US president things. He brings it on himself the way he presents things, but he also talks a lot of shit.

Realistic Managerial Replacements

Not sure he is even a manager anymore, is he? -
It took an enormous amount of US military power based in Europe, vast amounts of US money to rebuild Europe and eventual acceptance of their absolute military power. Its always been about power, and the reason it is all going to shit now is that the US while still powerful no longer has the wealth or the military strength to rule the world. They are distracting from that by playing bully boy in their backyard.

He loves the club, will run Hearts close for the title, is revered by everyone and his wife likes some quiet time around the house. What's not to like?

Shhhhh! Look over there! BOOOM!

Iran looks to be doing quite well on its own. If it is not this round of protests it will come. The Ayatollah is 86. For Venezuela the removal of their dictator is not a bad thing and it looks like it was done with the agreement of the VP and no doubt other key figures. The question is do we now have a puppet regime, and if so what does that look like?

I think the US wanted to be the big boys, and they got what they wanted. They wanted NATO to be reliant on them to the extent that it is also impossible to fight without their direct support. They could have made these noises decades ago.
-
While it may not be the most equitable place in the world, the average Venezuelan was much better off when the oil was flowing.
-
Its a very challenging situation, as I suspect what the US really wants is Europe to put a lot more money in, but not to develop a truly independent capability. NATO really only works with US technology / command and control, which is how they wanted it. Now they want us to pay but will they give us true autonomy? Or do we have time to build it ourselves?

Technically I think he is the coach, and as you say has little say in the squad, and is even obliged to rotate players against his wishes. Weird setup.

HarperCollins new female CEO clearly takes a different view to managing the talent.

Sounds dodgy as hell. In my experience it’s always possible to fix payment date issues.

Yes indeed, wouldn't want them to get tired or stressed. I am glad I don't really care about the cricket that much, else this would not be a nice time to be an England man in Aus.
-
Today yes. 48 and tired after a hectic year, and looking forward to a couple of weeks off in the sunshine. I need to stop eating crisps, drink less wine and exercise more. Mostly though I need rest.

Frank Sinclair?

It would have leaked I guess, and we knew they were looking for a CEO once Susan went. I think they had no prior warning she would go and it woke Top up a bit.

Anyone worth having is going to take some time, possibly not available until the summer.
-
The defence surely would be that it would be impossible to damage his reputation as it is already so poor.

Gun violence happens to other people. Or it if happens to you it would have all been fine if you just had a bigger gun.

Indeed, once he’s recovered from the two gunshot wounds the second shooter gave him. Shoulder and hand apparently so should be ok.
