Purely from an outside view you’d think we have no chance competing with prem clubs. But at sheff they won’t play possession football, in what way does that aid mcatee’s development. City have sent Doyle and looking like THB back to the champ, to teams who dominate the ball. And with maresca in charge city couldn’t find a more perfect system to send a young city player on loan. You never know…

Loans are sensible. Get a higher quality player than you would get on a perm (price wise and usually younger so happy to drop down to champ) plus we don’t have a squad full of champ quality players when we hopefully get promoted. Save some £££ for when we go up

If we bring in someone like chair or McAtee on loan then it’s a good move… they would be more natural in the advanced 8 role. But do we have faith he will be replaced…. That’s another issue.

I doubt he would be reintegrated into training if he was gonna leave after being exiled for weeks. Our only wingers are Mavididi, Madividua and albrighton. Vardy and kelz solid options, Daka Ain’t getting a look in. No way is out attack got similar depth and quality as leeds (atm)

Very very highly rated. Think that is what makes me skeptical. Looking on Newell fan sites they can’t believe he would go to a second tier team, and believe even 10 million is cheap (he’s only 20). If we pulled this off, It would be quite the coup from what I’ve read.

I wouldn’t panic. We will get a decent fee. Adams is going Everton for 15 with one year left, like nacho. Nacho is twice the player. He won’t be allowed to leave unless we have targets secured and signed off by maresca. Issue is we still need to replace Daka, who doesn’t fit the system. Finding 2 strikers in 10 days may not be easy
