How does a g/a every 2.3 games mainly from the bench prove that he can’t cut it? I’m not saying he’s a world beater but he’s better than what we’ve got

He’s played the equivalent of 55 full pl matches he’s scored 18 and assisted 5 which is a g/a every 2.3 games. Which really isn’t bad esp considering the majority of those matches were sub appearances… He is only 26 so room for improvement

The fact we have 2 loan spots available and space in the squad would make it even more criminal

If its true business is done It’s another horrific transfer window in the premier league. going into a prem season with Daka, vardy and ayew as your striker option. Vardy is the goat but can’t and won’t play every game… ayew played on the wing for palace and Daka is Daka… plus he’s injured. the whispers that we don’t have money left for a striker is made worse by the fact we spent 25 million on Oliver skipp…. My only saving grace is… surely we aren’t stupid enough to let cannon go if we really aren’t going to bring a striker in. Especially with Daka’s injury.

Usual lcfc. Go on for weeks that we are looking for LB, LW, ST even cb. Gets to deadline day and it’s highly likely we are gonna scrape a deadwood striker over the line (if we’re lucky) Same scenario every window.

We lack quality badly. However it’s nice to see we have some backbone and heart for once but that only goes so far. It’s going to be a long season

Not good not bad. Fulham obviously the better team. Encouraging we found a way back in to the game like against spurs shows we’ve got abit of a backbone for once Need more of a threat down the left. a couple of quality additions in attack/creative spark desperately needed however.

Encouraging second half. Looks like there is some fight in this squad which is refreshing. Hopefully try and get a few quality additions over the line in forward areas in particular. soumare must of ran to the KP pre game by his energy levels 😂. On a a side not Kristiansen grew into the game and looked well up for it. Decent deliveries into the box too. buonanotte, Kasey, Fatawu were brilliant. Mads improved as the game went on LTID 🦊

yeah I get that. The calibre of club in for him is probably lower than he expected at one point he was getting touted around Man Utd 😂 However, there will still be plenty of clubs who would take a player like Ndidi on a free, I think it’s naive to think otherwise . The issue seems to be more interest from abroad than other premier league clubs as prem clubs have moved away from players of Ndidi’s style. The issue being for Ndidi the clubs interested (namely foreign) cant match premier league wages, hence why he’s probably thinking of resigning. Our hands are also tied, despite him not being the player we had 3/4 years ago, replacing him adequately when we already have 0 midfield would be very difficult.

I’d argue the opposite. He’s a free agent who will have had plenty of interest and offers. That makes me think we’ve given him a large contract to convince him to stay as with our financial position we wouldn’t find much better for less than 30 million. I feel all the clubs interested won’t match what we are offering so now he’s having second thoughts of leaving… which isn’t ideal for us as we would like players who want to be here no matter what.

I wouldn’t moan too much. He played the equivalent of 15 90 min games last season. Scoring 6 and assisting 2. More than a goal contribution every other game. as long as he’s coming in as a squad player and not to start every week. And we haven’t offered him a stupid contract at 31 I can’t see what’s bad about it. Plus he’s FREE!

Considering our love in with CAA. I’d be suprised if we don’t go for spence. Also interesting to see if we go for Samuel ricci, a player we get linked with fairly often over the last few years.
