  1. I'm desperate to read the news ..."Talks between LCFC and Steve Cooper have broken down...." #ClutchingAtStraws
  2. Yes. That is correct. I've had a mobile ST from 'Day 1'. The ‘first ticket’ will be sent to your phone, via email, once the fixtures are announced and it is known who we will play in our first home game (but I cannot recall how long after that announcement that first ticket will be sent). This should be saved into your phone ‘wallet’. From then on, the ticket is normally updated automatically a few hours after each home game and you will receive a message informing you ‘your tickets has been updated’ and I always check that it has done so successfully (and it always has been).
  3. Henry Winter "With respect to club owners and executives, any decision on VAR should be taken only after proper consultation with a club's manager, players and supporters. Their technical/emotional input is vital. As a ST holder, if asked, I'd vote to scrap it. The enjoyment of supporters, INSIDE THE STADIUMS, when the ball hits the back of the net, without VAR, is greatly enhanced. Yes, mistakes are made in the EFL by refs and linesmen however, after our one season in the Championship, I dread the thought of games with VAR next season.
  4. Until hell freezes over unless the club addresses the much needed reform to limit the number of years a ST holders is awarded 50 AWAY points at the start of each season or they reduce that figure.
  5. Hope this helps.... As you are walking avoid approaching from the north as there some really dark tunnels and an grotty underpass. Defo avoid at night. Obviously I don't where in London you will be walking from but you need to approach ground walking along the Bolina Road from the South and the Away secure compound and entrance will be on your right.
  6. No, the system will not let you!! It's really frustrating for those like me that always go to games on their own. I've mentioned the issue to Jim to ask if that function can be turned off when the seats get down to the last few. You could try getting a single (from a pair) in your basket which will be ‘safe’ for 20 minutes and hope that someone will then buy the other single of the two. But not sure if that would work.
  7. But I would advise Members to jump on at 2.00 pm to be safe, I don't think STs have finished their buying yet.
  8. That's brilliant but no sightings although it was cold enough for them!
  9. I actually made it to the beach today, well walked along the pier at Boscombe if that counts, Watched the Sun go down pre-match. No adverse reaction to my feet!
  10. Now less than 80 left. Come on guys, make a day of it. Go early, spend all day on the beach , then pub followed by the game..
  11. I would suspect a great number of our fans who attend 'sell-out' away games are not neither ST holders or members but get their tickets from ST holders who buy them only to maintain their high position in the Away points scheme.
  12. If people haven't decided to have a membership after seven months into a season in preparation for games such as this .... !!
  13. God, you're brave. Calling for ID checks on this forum!!
  14. These are good points and yes I totally agree the 50+ ST holders should be scraped or as a compromise, limited to a set number of season, which would enable those further down the food chain to catch-up. ‘2 or 3 points for certain away games'….’ Yes, definitely. Those on TV, midweek, distance away from KP etc. As you say, other clubs do this. I was slightly aggrieved to only receive 1 point for each of Legia, Randers, Napoli, PSV, Roma. The same single point for a trip to Villa Park! One comment… you mention ‘regular away fans’. However those with fewer points, or ST only or members have not had a great opportunity, over the ‘last 5 years’ to attend away games due to the current process for allocating ‘Away’ points. And I’m pretty sure many of our fans, with higher priority points, who have purchased away tickets over the ‘last five years’, have not actually ATTENDED the games for which they have bought the ticket! But such is life!! I just wish the club would actually propose an alternative solution, or solutions, for away points so we could debate, argue, review the options, and maybe even vote for a preference (but with ‘keep the current process’ off any ballot!) Instead all we get ‘we are looking at it’ or ‘we might do something next season’. Mañana! Mañana! Mañana! Mañana!
  15. Spare available for Cardiff Short notice, but due to illness I have a spare. Block 122. Concession (60+). £19 Collection Wigston
  16. Regrettably buying tickets for AWAY games, in regards to building up your priority points, is pointless. There is absolutely no incentive to buy AWAY tickets while the 50 point given each season for a HOME season tickets continues. But glad you get to some away games, by one means or another. ".....being looked into by “senior management”. How does that rhyme go .... This year, Next Year Sometime Never!
  17. 5 tickets left in total in Blocks 24 and 26. (25 Sold out) Blocks 22 and 23 opened this am. Almost all available as at 09.29 Hope it reaches members for you. Good Luck.
  18. Sold, subject to ‘exchange of contract’ at the Watford game. but have someone lined up if that deal does not materialise!
  19. I will have a spare Lower Section. DM me.
  20. ONE SPARE NEED - I am joining those who are looking for a spare. Will collect/pay from relatively anywhere.
  21. Exactly! I'm also stuck in the 'All STH' brackets and can only add to my total when there is a large allocation or a midweek League Cup matches in some god-forsaken northern city or when games are on at inconvenient times and/or involve long distance travel or in Europe. In regards to gaining away points, as the system stands, there is ABSOLUTELY NO INCENTIVE to watch my club play away, as like you said, the boundaries go up each year and I’ll aways be stuck in the 'All STH' brackets. I would have to attend every away game for over two years to earn those 50 points that are allocated at the start of each season – I would do so but I can’t attend every away game as I don’t have sufficient points!! Catch 22. But I do attend every away game that gets to 'All STH' and will continue to do so. But not to gain a single points, but for the love of my club.
