Running down to Dixon's on gallowtree gate after the game to catch the goals on central sports at about 515 in the TVs in the window as it was likely the only chance you'd get to see them replayed.

I called few weeks ago. They will email existing members when they go on sale

Trust me, you won't feel like we are in the championship when you feel the price rises, we are last on match of the day every week and have to put up with the absolute total c*nt (i wish i could find a stronger word but can't) that is VAR and your goal celebrations are muted after a 5 minute check 🤣

Even so, I'd fancy our chances of getting something from both, over any established prem teams, especially Southampton who we do tend to score a few past in recent history.

Southampton and Ipswich first two games would be ideal. Wipe out the majority of any deduction then start mission survival proper.

Questions to be asked at manager interviews

What do you think about the pedestrianisation of Norwich city centre? (Source - partridge) -
Don't let it get to you mate, loads of tw@ts who are brave behind a screen on here, and actually on the internet in general. Take comfort in the fact that if they behaved and spoke like they do on here in the real world, they would be getting punched in the pub every Saturday night. In fact part of me hopes they do.

There's lots lcfc and king power need to improve on but , and many will disagree with me here, I think the family experience is one of, if not the most, important. Local kids need to see their local team, attending games is how you get the bug, otherwise they end up supporting whoever wins the premier league or gets the most publicity. My first game was with family and it only took that one game to get me for life. I still remember it.....November 1990. Beat wolves 1-0. David Kelly at the kop end. I'm digressing but these things stay with you. My point is you HAVE to get kids in to have a fan base in 20 years time. Parents who aren't really football fans might take them as a one off if they could just pick up the phone and buy a ticket. But for say a dad/mam and two kids you have to shell out for 3 memberships before you can even think about trying to get a ticket. Most parents who are not football fans simply will not do this and i can't say i blame them. There needs to be some sort of trial scheme where first timers can get a taste ....or hundreds of potential young fans will be lost to teams they will never likely see in person

Safe standing - time to act
rugbyblue replied to Safe Standing Roadshow's topic in Leicester City Forum
I've watched this a number of times. Was fantastic to be part of what felt like an old fashioned terrace goal celebration. Safe standing makes a hell of a difference. And you young uns.......look there are old geezers going mental too giving it big "limbs". Come on top and rudkin......give us this one thing if nothing else -
Personally I'm holding out for the prime minister job so have turned down promotions at work. In seriousness, whilst maybe not a managerial genius, potter would probably be a safe bet in the eyes of the FA. A yes man in the Southgate vein. Not a loose cannon in the cloughie mould (for the older among us). My choice, for what it's worth, would be Robbins from Cov. Aside from the fact it would leave their fans foaming at the mouth, I do think he has something about him and he took them from league one to the brink of the prem season before last

This is what a functional Trust can achieve
rugbyblue replied to Daggers's topic in Leicester City Forum
Common occurrence.....these executives must think we are daft......I'd have more respect if they just said this is what we are doing, no arguments, get on with it, rather than insult my intelligence by asking my views and pretending I have a say -
Premier league clubs to vote on scrapping VAR
rugbyblue replied to David Hankey's topic in Leicester City Forum
I enjoyed last season too, I actually preferred it as a supporter, much to the disgust of younger friends and colleagues who think the premier league is the only place to be. -

We laugh but this goes on all the time, especially at Leicester city. I've been in workplaces where it happens. A decision has already been made but they pay lip service to consulting employees (or in this case, fans) for their views, knowing full well they are going to do what they have decided anyway. And if you question it rather than bend over and take it, you are viewed as a "trouble maker" That said, fair play to anyone who actually fights/argues for what they believe in or for change. -
Top tip....the quickest way to throw £5 away is to enter your work sweepstake and draw Albania.......... not that I'm bitter 😡

Premier league clubs to vote on scrapping VAR
rugbyblue replied to David Hankey's topic in Leicester City Forum
I'm not being dismissive or rude, everyone is entitled to an opinion but I simply don't care about improving it. I don't want it, never have. Not everything has to be perfect or tick a box. As I said, I can live with human error in the heat of the moment. I'll leave it there, let's agree to disagree -

Im not disputing the stats....to be fair, I couldn't give a toss about the stats.....it's ruining the flow of the game and sucking the passion out of the game, especially goal celebrations. I can live with the odd poor decision by a human, even if it's against my team. For every one that goes against you, one will go for you at some point down the line. It's great for rain man types who can't sleep at night unless the correct decision has been made but for the average Joe, we just want the game to be played as it was invented to be played.
