  1. And here was me thinking the system of a ref and two linos that we had for 130 odd years worked perfectly ok. I blame frank lampard personally. His non goal for England in 2010 started all this technology b0ll0cks.😂
  2. What complete utter w@nkers. The very people that have voted to keep it will be moaning about it and threatening appeals to decisions next season. Where has OUR game gone? Ffs
  3. Struck a chord with me, this. Stevie p sounds in a similar boat to me. Single parent and Leicester city is mine and my daughter's thing. I don't have a season ticket and have always paid game by game. Last season we attended around 18 home and away. The point I'm making is that I'm not what you would call well off, but I have a decent job, above average wage but even so I'm close to reaching the point where football on a regular basis will be too expensive for me soon. If someone on a decent income is struggling to justify it, how do clubs expect people on lower wages or younger people to attend. Another couple of seasons and I can see that Leicester city will be a one off treat rather than a regular thing which saddens me as I have been going since 1991. They will lose a lifelong supporter in me and a future supporter in my daughter, who won't go alone, nor be able to afford it. There will come a point surely where even people on higher incomes say enough is enough. What happens then? There has to be a limit as to how much even well off people will pay. Don't clubs realise this? It's all well and good saying support a local team but the investment of emotion and the useless ability of being able to recall goals from games 25 years ago won't be there and it just won't matter as much to any supporter who has supported a team since childhood. In fairness to wolves I believe they have backtracked on the child ticket increases....I can't see Leicester doing the same when the situation arises. I genuinely cannot wait for the football gravy train to implode and it gets back to being a sport not a money making exercise.....here's hoping.
  4. Then dribble on you and say I like your shoes 😂
  5. I laugh but every word is true !!
  6. That's the lino from our Sunday team! Hands in pocket, fag in mouth, strolling along
  7. Are they going to have lookie lookie men walking around outside flogging it. Seems appropriate given the quality....or lack of
  8. I have no comment on this but just to say .....At Last! A non Enzo related thread 😂😂
  9. I never liked all the sh*t he got when he went to villa....they were "his" club. And looking back, he really started an upward curve (in the main) for city. We were dogsh*t for quite some time before he came along and playing in front of 10k at filbert street. He got us promoted and seemed to generate a good feeling around the club even before then. As a side note, a genuinely nice man too. My mum used to run junior football teams for kids on Northfields, Sutton estate and that sort of area. Every year she would write to Brian little asking for a small gift for presentation night. He would always reply PERSONALLY and send a ball or shirt signed by the squad and twice he sent players to hand out awards. Can you imagine that today.
  10. I remember the days where the biggest tactical issue was whether pontus kaamark man marking juninho was in the spirit of the game. How times change. Inverted full backs, transition, false 9, low press.....give me a break
  11. I agree. For two hours on a Saturday it's all consuming but the bottom line is, we have lives and in the big scheme of things, one millionaire making a few more millions elsewhere doesn't affect us too much. I'll support city whoever the manager is, whoever plays for us and whatever division. What else am I going to do? Support someone else? It doesn't work that way.
  12. 😂😂😂. I do ok against teams that don't threaten the goal too but doubt I'll get a first team start.
  13. Agreed. Managers come and go, they always have but Enzo did seem genuinely interested in the fans and creating an atmosphere. We don't know what happens behind closed doors but I imagine he was for rather than against singing sections and standing areas....just guessing mind but it's the impression I got. Fan groups said he supported them so from that perspective I'm a little disappointed that a manager that cares about an atmosphere is going.
  14. Ha ha I like that as a measure of wealth....shopping at Morrisons 😂
  15. We don't know what he does in his spare time . Sorry David
  16. They keep the season alive too. Without them there would be a load of teams with not much to play for for last few rounds of games
  17. Only have an iPad at my disposal today. Anybody know of any streams I can see the game on?
  18. Im a saint for the day!! Not least because I can't bear Leeds but I also can't think of a team besides Southampton that have shipped anywhere near as many goals against us over the past few years
  19. Yep. There will be snippets of truth within mountains of bullsh*t. And we don't know what those snippets are. Quite bored of it now. Get it done one way or the other so we can all move on and the team can prepare for what isn't going to be an easy season.
  20. Exactly this. There is little or no emotional attachment, like there is for fans, with the odd exception.
  21. Well what a waste of 20 mins 😂😂. Enough time for 2
  22. Funny how things we should have said come to us afterwards. I think you had a better excuse than me.....and a slightly more glamorous location!
  23. Adidas original flower. Yes. Good shout
