I did consider hacken previously actually. Its been relatively easy to get tickets for the other two games ive seen so hopefully will be for a 3rd and maybe even fourth. Thanks for the input both

Thank you. ππ . Ill get the fixture list out

Having seen djurgarden in stockholm last year and malmo earlier this year, me and my daughter have really caught the sweden bug. Great country and great atmospheres at games. We are planning to do the last of the 3 big cities and see ifk gΓΆteborg next. Anyone been? What's the liveliest fixture to attend ? @CosbehFox i see you are well travelled. Any thoughts?

With the game changing almost beyond recognition since i was a kid, i find it kind of comforting that life of Riley is still the goal of the month/season music π . Just me?

Daka and ayew leaving is my favourite moment of this season. Not even trying to be funny. Get out of OUR club, i dont ever want to hear your names again

Bought my daughter down. Good city turnout. Good few hundred by looks of it

I always used to say this. If we were down at half time i always pictured pearson grabbing a few by the scruff of the neck, reading the riot act and demanding more. Not something i imagined any subsequent managers doing

Kante definitely. Mahrez definitely. Id also say vardy was. He didnt get enough of an opportunity for England but i judge it like this....he wasn't a striker that grabbed goals only against average and lower prem teams like some strikers do. He got goals against the best teams in the country regularly and these top prem teams supposedly had some of the best defenders in the country. So for me, yes, world class

Behave. First i dont have to justify myself to anyone including you. If you dont want to go then dont go. Ill do what i want. Im just a supporter mate. I dont run the club. I don't have millions of pounds to pump in or the power to remove the people that run it. I just like going to the city. I dont like the regime but trying to make out it will be on me or other people who have bought season tickets if the club fails is BS of the highest order. Its a drop in the ocean.

Just like going to the football, sing, shout, let off a bit of steam, its mine and my daughters "thing". We dont do much else together just me and her. Escape from everyday life for couple hours. We enjoy it and city are our team. I go to games in Scandinavia and other games here now and again and there might be better atmosphere but the truth is the teams dont matter to us. There isnt the same level of care or years of emotional investment that there is in city. When these teams score or grab a winner it just dont matter to us, whereas when city do, it does matter. You can't recreate that feeling even if you went to CL final. Quite simply id miss it.

Just back at hotel after post match pint. Malmo 2- mjallby 3. Sat next to away fans (mjallby) who were incredible and did not stop all game! Ud love to have been in there The home end was full length of pitch away and were bouncing but drowned out by mjallby from where i was sitting. Great game which malmo were always chasing after going 2 down. Ref let lots of niggly fouls and contact go. Also very evident was the lack of play acting and time wasting. It made for a better watch than the prem or championship. It would be rare to see here but at the final whistle mjallby players and manager were talking to the mjallby fans and leading the post match celebrations on a megaphone that one of the mjallby ultras threw down to them! Great experience. Ill be back to a Swedish game again for sure. Pics dont do it justice and vids wont upload so youll have to trust me on this one π As an aside, if you are interested in architecture like i am, malmo is well worth seeing. The centre is being almost completely regenerated and the buildings are very modern. The city is very safe and relaxed. Walked round at 11pm last night with my daughter and not slightly concerned.

Thanks. We have done the train trip before (not for football) and they didnt check after the airport. Ill be ready though just in case
-
Yes ill be honest, i hadn't heard much about them until last season. Tiny little place/club compared to the big boys. I've read they are pretty raucous so looking forward to it

Off to malmo v mjallby on sunday. 2nd swedish league game ill have been to. Tickets bought directly from malmo. Easy process. Surprised there were a couple hundred left considering mjallby are champions. Day in copenhagen tomorrow then over the oresund bridge to malmo. Should be a good one. Pics to be posted Sunday/monday

LCFC 0-1 Swansea, post-match thread
rugbyblue replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
Disgusting display. They had nothing to play for and still wanted it more, showed more fight and were first to almost every ball. Most unlikeable team i have seen in all my time following city. **** off -
Yeah that sounds a right game tbf. My feeling is the system probably wont account for situations like that as they have age limits dont they. Iv had red warning messages saying this supporter is too young to be buying a ticket alone...til i add mine

When i was a member i was able to enter myself and my daughter into the ballot together (she was 13 14 and 15 at those times ) but that was me as the lead supporter requesting tickets for us both if we were successful- she was named on the ballot see an old screen shot attached.) Im not sure if she would have been accepted just her as we never tried. Not sure if thats a lot of help, sorry.

You make a fair point that it should be everyone. I can't really argue with that and i do think it should be everyone.....at football and other events where there are large crowds.
