Nah they scrapped the whole ceremony! Bet he was fumin. But I voted for Winks. KDH will win the actual EFL award if we win the league and Ricky will probably get players player perhaps? Also not watched anything of the women's team really so might be miles off it but that Rantala looks a baller!

I'm saying apply that logic to all 3 relegated managers, especially the one that has no English managerial experience whatsoever. So when we had a wobble, take it just as that...an understandable blip. Farke hasn't done anything more impressive with this Leeds team than Maresca has...that's just facts. If anything, we win our game in hand and we'll be above you so you have to question how one manager can be in and not the other (as I've mentioned above).
-
Yeah I'm unsure if this is unconscious bias or you're fully aware of what you're doing but you cannot just pick and choose a period of games where Leeds were good and ignore the whole picture. Otherwise like another poster has put earlier, we'll just excuse our slump for the fact that AFCON, injuries and a non existent transfer window derailed us for that period. All 3 relegated sides have a drastically changed squad to the ones in the Prem. Farke is one of if not the most experienced manager for a championship promotion charge, Maresca completely untested so that has to be respected. Either way I posted after my initial comment that I think McKenna deserves it and I wouldn't have Farke or Maresca in there but you cannot have one without the other and certainly wouldn't have even released the nominations 6/7 games before the season's even over .
-
Especially when you consider Farke is on there who has a squad very similar in calibre to ours and wouldn't say he's done a much better job or Rosenior with Hull who also has a VERY good squad. I'd be going more for Cifuentes at QPR or Corbs at WBA over those two. But suppose it's futile because McKenna deserves to win it if they go up!

Foxes Trust – LCFC Accounts Statement
TheGoldenGod replied to Foxes_Trust's topic in Leicester City Forum
Yeah, echo what's been said. Far too "pal-y" with the board clearly. HOLD THE BASTARDS accountable! -
https://www.efl.com/news/2024/april/03/efl-awards-2024--shortlists-revealed/ EFL End Of Season Awards shortlist Manager: Kieran McKenna, Daniel Farke, Liam Rosenior (???) Player: Kiernan Dewsbury Hall, Crysencio Summerville, Sammie Szmodics Young Player: Archie Gray, Jon Rowe, Jordan James

The fans whether you like it or not deserve huge credit. The ones jeering where inevitably proven right as it changed the game when Abdul got on the ball. Players should just accept any criticism when they're on eye-watering wages they don't deserve.

May have missed this but has Brussel Martin's weekly meltdown been discussed yet? Ticking time-bomb that bloke
-
They keep playing until they score, simple as.
-
We're currently winning with 10 men
-
Assuming this is tongue-in-cheek cause there can't be a person on the planet supporting the joker.
-
You might as well be playing me instead of Daka here...4 touches in 50 minutes. **** right off!

Injured pal

Is KDH playing in Timberlands? Christ alive, his touch🤣
-
Absolutely zero chance we go up. Everyone zapped of all ability and zero sign of change from Enzo. This is the easiest game we've got basically for the remainder...a team that got nowt to play for playing us off the park.
-
The pass was crap as its been from him all game.
-
Better than Yannik the PL no doubt! Neither probably good enough next year though.
-
Fair play to Faes because I love him but this first 20 minutes is an all-timer for worst CB performance in years. Looks like the local drunk is on the pad controlling him!
-
One of last season's many shambles! Chelsea doing the double over us when they were utter dross. Gave Potter one of his very few wins as well. I'm massively of the opinion it should be a sackable offence to lose to a team with less men on the field especially when Gallagher got sent off in the 28th minute. If you think about if that was us, we'd lose the game 3 or 4-0.

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'
TheGoldenGod replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
Spot on, and with that last point, how can the PL/EFL have the cheek to claim the PRS rules are withheld to prevent clubs "going bust" or keeping clubs spending within their means when the punishments can ruin clubs. Charlatans, the lot of them who run our beautiful game! -
I think in theory this works, especially when we're winning comfortably because our slick passing should tire the opposition more than us. However I believe the grueling championship schedule coupled with the fact that we've not actually been winning games comfortably of late means that we're expending more energy. 4 of our last 5 games have been away too, Leeds, Bournemouth, Sunderland and Hull. It plays a part!

Once again, famous last words on this thread..... Play the kids, Give our strongest players enough rest, they look absolutely out on their feet in recent weeks. Not the priority as been said many times before. Also we've got this far playing a different team, no reason to change.
-
This isn't a typical season. I think you might be in for a shock on just how many points 3 of the 4 will get.
-
He's bob. Wouldn't go near him in the Prem, could get another loan or someone cheaper who offers more. Is he a winger? Is he an '8'? No idea cause he's not great at anything. Said it multiple times on here, he's too lightweight.
