So many things are lacking or are just are ass-backwards in this club of ours... I don't know if introducing youth players at this point will solve anything. The biggest problems are obviously the lack of scoring and very poor defense. It would take a truly special kind of a youth talent to do either at this level, mainly without the mental stamina that takes years to form. Although I have been emotional here in regards to his work as late as yesterday, I realize that I don't know enough about people management on a scale like this to make a pronouncement of Rowett's shortcomings or mistakes. We simply don't have enough information to make an educated opinion. In a free society the press should give a voice to those that otherwise can't ask direct questions. It would be nice if someone from the local journalist corps would ask him direct questions directly - why play the same formation, why make changes so late, why not give time to the young players, why select one player or another, why keep starting Ricardo, etc. etc. There are pre- and post-match press conferences...

What you wrote may or may not be true, parts of it, or all of it. However, the buck stops with him, and he's not shying away from it. For me, it's enough to respect the man. I do not see anything pathetic in the man. If some players don't listen to his instructions, then that's how it is. He did not sign a single player; what he has at his disposal was there before and is plain for all to see.

I understand your disgust and sarcasm for those two, but it would be interesting to know. Is it possible to have a tally of attendances the Chairman and his second in command made this season, since they don;'t appear incognito, and are shown on TV whenever they are there. I'd imagine that Rudkin would be at the King Power Stadium for every single home match, and could travel with the team for the away games.

Instead of spending crazy money on players who didn't deserve it, King Top and his brilliant sidekick Rudkin should have tripled Maresca's salary, even quadrupled it, and begged him to manage us in the PL, with a fat bonus to keep us there at the end of the 2024/25 season. It would have been way cheaper than maintaining this circus, all the while making themselves look like the complete and utter buffoons that they are. Too late now, because what follows will be devastating.
