  1. We should have won this game by any damn metric. Who the f!@#k gave Daka the right to take the PK?! He has taken eight penalties in his career, and missed a whopping 3. Hopefully this was his last day in the shirt. We were very good today. I enjoyed what I saw. But damn...39 points in 39 matches...in the Championship.
  2. In the Norwich game he made some excellent long passes to Daka and Fatawau. The former couldn't do a thing (expected by all but Rowett), while the latter thought (perhaps wrongly) that he channeled Diego Maradona.
  3. Imagine Scholes, Beckham, Kante, Xavi, Modric in his place right now, in this very squad, and tell me, with a hand on your heart, that any of them would've done a lot better than Winks.
  4. One or two goals for Ipswich from crosses, one from a pk. For us...surprise me.
  5. Add: It was the protestors who signed Okoli for £14 million.
  6. Hardly the case for your own revolution, if you are an Englishman.
  7. Disappointed in the manager. Rowett knew he had made tactical mistakes, and should’ve made appropriate corrections. Instead, he put his best Cifuentes mask on and sat on his hands until it was too late. Norwich looked good, I must say. They thoroughly outplayed us, from the first minute to the last. We, on the other hand, are ****-ed. They owned us, on pace, on passing, on the will to win. This is just sad.
  8. Ayew on the pitch again…will this mindless torture ever end?!
  9. Odd that he's being discussed as a (somewhat) serious footballer; 14 million for this player was a bloody robbery.
  10. I wonder if Jordan Blackwell watched the same match. Gives Okoli an 8. https://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/leicester-city-player-ratings-vs-10833807
  11. Hopefully he’s not in the starting lineup this Saturday, after his head injury. A sordid player.
  12. Should’ve kept Daka on; we could’ve won this thing. Very bad move by the coach. It’s time someone from the local press ask him why he plays Ayew at all. He’s a liability…it was like playing with 10 men today when he came in.
  13. No Ayew, no Okoli, no Stolarczyk; don't start Mavididi...and we've got a team.
  14. Putting Ayew in was giving Boro a man advantage...he's just DONE. We were effectively playing with 10 men after he came in.
  15. Subbing Daka for Ayew reduces my faith in this manger's knowledge of this team. Daka was good today.
  16. i liked us in the first half - very dynamic, tenacious on the ball, keeping the opposition alert, all until that moron gave away the goal.
  17. Okoli passing to opposition in own half is a tradition by now. Fool.
  18. How does one observe this flow of proceedings on their personal tablet? Thanks!
  19. Would be delighted if someone shared the way to watch this momentous match.
  20. Top paid 14 million for this player. 1m90cm...can't handle crosses, can't pass.
  21. A tough one. Would be very-very happy with a draw there, but Middlesbrough has other plans. This is a do or die game for us.
  22. I saw that too. He had possibly checked out a n the past, when he saw that his teammates were not up to par, time and time again. I would go on a limb and make him a captain for a game or two, if only to see whether he feels proud of the armband. He absolutely has more to offer, as does Skipp.
  23. If a clone of the best qualities of LT and VK were made, he would still be a mediocre defender. I did feel some esprit de corps from watching him tussle with his Stoke namesake yesterday, but that is no excuse for repeatedly misreading crosses into own box. That is an automatic DQ for a defender.
  24. Abhorrent first half; much better afterwards. Should’ve won. Awful defending again, which isn’t a surprise to anyone. At this level, one on one marking should be a given, but these fullbacks and centers routinely lose their man from set pieces. They just aren’t good enough to give us a clean sheet, the whole back line. Keeper did well today; wish we had him in place of the dreadful Danny; would’ve stayed up.
