Sheff Wednesday are awful but can’t help but root for them 🤣 No quality but gave everything for the badge -

Yeah I’d agree with that. I think the level of arrogance and money that comes with it makes it even worse, I genuinely believe that majority if not all these players still believe they are high level premier league players too -

When you think of the money being spent too, by a country mile yes! We’ve had some shit but haven’t paid as much either, you should get what you pay for so although it was painful, you understood the poor quality we had previously -
Is the Championship heading for financial 'catastrophe'?
Blue.Fox84 replied to davieG's topic in Leicester City Forum
The only way football in England survives is a 50+1 rule like in Germany Fans need to have a say in how their clubs are being ran, likely less investments that forces wages to drop and likely brings down the cost of football to the fans too -
I hope we don’t go down but in the same breathe, I hope if it happens then the reality sets in for a lot of how badly this club is being ran A lot of people I speak to still believe the clubs staying up, which makes me believe they are out of touch with where we are as a club/group of players. Relegation forces the hands of speeds up the due diligence from the club with the obvious being a League One club. Academy status goes, all the decent academy players which was the reason for the hugely expensive training ground leave and were left searching for poor players in a shit league, probably still trying to afford Vesty and Winks. Accepting and complimenting a 2-2 draw at home to Preston tells you the level of acceptance for some of our fans now. The club is dead
-
Absolute disgrace. There is 11 players within that 18 yard box against 5 Preston players. 2 players at the back stick for a free header and nobody with any sense of danger to protect the goal - Ricky P started there then ****ed off Players need to take accountability into this but as someone being employed as a ‘specialist’, serious questions need to be asked The club needs purging at the end of the season no matter what division we end up being in
-
I honestly think we can get out of the bottom

Don’t be nasty, it’s upsetting the multimillionaire players who is dragging the club to League One -
One of his best performances. That being said, Preston backline was woeful and against a GK we binned off for not being good enough Confidence is a key part to a successful team however his dire performances have been apart of the clubs demise so deserves the criticism just as anyone else would in any line of work. He’s a professional footballer on a lot of money, if he can’t take criticism from fans then shows the weak mentality Hopefully he can back it up with another good game as consistency is required

Like what has been said majority of the season, opposition are terrible. We actually make Iverson look decent Feel like today is the day for us to be as good as down
-
It’s a sad situation to be in with him, genuinely was one of the best in Prem once. Arguably been on a rapid decline the last few seasons
-
Shit throw in to an area that it shouldn’t have gone into and neglected his job as defending the near post to mark his own team mate on the 6 yard line
-
Ricardo is having a stinker, at fault for both goals
-
The lad is awful, thats literally it. He’s a runner and not a footballer Part of the reason why people discuss alternatives is because it’s either him or Ayew who is playing and it’s clearly not working with either. So because some of our academy products ‘havent been the saviours’ we should over-look any other lad, especially in a position we are light and also very poor! 🤣 CF’s run a lot on confidence/belief - Daka looks completely shot of it, if you’ve got a lad banging in goals elsewhere and he’s old enough, give him his chance. The worst Thats going to happen is he’s going to be bullied off the ball - which we’re getting from Daka anyways 🤣
-
Crazy to me people still want him playing and defend him, all because he runs around 🤣 No strength, no awareness, horrendous first touch and shocking in front of goal on a ridiculously (and overpriced) high wage. The bar of expectation is so low, you can find lads in non-league who can give you more on a fraction you pay for Daka. We knew we had no strikers going into the season (poor by the club), it’s obvious Daka and Ayew don’t work, an alternative system or player needs to be found - Mavididi (just as poor but looked okay in central area a few weeks ago tbf), a young lad like Hutchinson or a different system. We’ll be lucky if we get more than 1 goal from Daka till the end of the season

Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!
Blue.Fox84 replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
I think changing the west stand to The Jordan Ayew stand would be a real testament to his time here -
Sounds an odd one, but I always felt the FA Cup win was a bit of a freak/written in the stars sort of moment. It felt like the end of a fairytale, a lot of the players probably knew their time was coming to an end at the club and with Vichai’s death it was the ultimate motivation too There was alot of signs during the season that things weren’t right on and off the pitch. Agree that a lot didnt see these then (still don’t now), back to back seasons throwing away champions league football was huge red flags for me
-
It really is depressing. It feels like some still think were some fairytale that repercussions won’t affect us, maybe it’s because we’ve been in League One before too 🤷♂️ The club is in a completely different position and the way football clubs operate is on a completely different level to what it was 20 years ago. Id fear the worse even with new owners due to the restrictions they’ll be dealt but with this current group of crooks it feels we are blindly walking into extinction
-
Stay up in the championship, it’s likely to be difficult and we spend a few years there but the club should hopefully be able to rebuild - if in the right pair of hands Relegation to League One and the club surely goes into administration. X2 training grounds, a stadium that will barely see more than 20k attendance, women’s side and Cat 1 academy before you even think about players wages and non staff. There is every chance we’ll have to lose our Cat 1 status which will be a huge loss and set the club back massively! People arguing that if we get relegated then we can depend on youth coming through, those players will leave soon as that status has been lost, any up and coming talent no longer prioritise LCFC and we start to pick up the scraps that other teams around the midlands don’t want. A huge selling point of Seagrave was to apparently recruit and nurture the best talent in the midlands, our whole approach has been and will be ripped apart. Players, coaches and scouts will be lost, anything that’s being built at younger ages are in risk of being lost just as much as any quality we can wish to see playing in the first team from next season. Don’t be surprised to see more youth players awarded contracts before the season ends in a desperate attempt to either keep them for next season or as an asset to sell before they walk out the door for free (hopefully anyways)
-
We’ll be able to play home games at Seagrave
-
Im guessing Theres an element of truth there, ultimately we were light of CF’s and as fans you want to see the clubs recruiting in a position were massively lacking, especially with how important the second half of this season is What it has identified is just how poor the recruitment is, didnt we play Chelsea 23’s just before the window shut? Lazy/impulse recruitment has probably seen him play, thought he had attributes that would help for pennies and be seen as a great decision. We also have a fascination with ‘elite academies’ over our own. Turns out the guy can’t even play as a CF before we even start to discuss his overall quality/application 🤣
-
One thing that anyone who is KP Out can do is making sure that they don’t take any of your money, ticket sales, merchandise etc maybe the biggest noise is silence/reduced money in KP pockets Nothing with KP is going to change between now and the end of the season, take away the ability for the KP faithful to point the finger and make sure we make enough noise either when relegation has been confirmed/throughout the summer
-
I understand this. It’s not right but with the divide amongst fans, you feel like you don’t want to give them the ammunition. Protests are apparently effecting the team and will end up being the excuse as to why we get relegated. At this point I feel like the only option is to sit back, watch it happen and wait to see what the next excuse will be I’ve never felt so disconnected to the club I grew up loving.
-
Does anyone know if Enzo is still coming in the summer? Promotion next season
-
QPR want it more than us, they are scrapping for everything. We’ve got players who are getting ran past
-
It’s the hope that kills you, Tuesday was a freak but people thought we were back 🙃🤣
