I’m not saying that there is guarantees in football but with the success we had (Prem winners, consistently top half, Europe, FA winners), money spent - we should never be in the position we are in now Granted we’d of had seasons in bottom half premier league/flirting relegation but never where we are now regardless of our history being a yo-yo club.

I think it’s down to a lack of faith the club will actually appoint someone credible to turn the club around. Anyone that comes in has to also work with the same bunch of players who have no intention of performing here, and whilst whoever is in charge has no possibility of moving on the deadwood and forming their own team, there’s little hope of anything happening Not saying it’s right, it’s just a complete mess of a situation

Agree that having such a poor and inconsistent backline doesn’t help, although it also works the other way too - when you have a GK who is all over the place shows very little command, your backline also shows the lack of trust to their GK too We had Okoli and Nelson as a CB pairing that everyone has been demanding 🤷‍♂️

I’d play Begovic 🤷‍♂️ Storlarcyk has made way too many costly mistakes recently

We’re soooo far off becoming a premier league club again, unless he is delusional as to where we are (which wouldn’t surprise me) then it’s going to be a long time till he sells - but fans can’t keep turning up to games just to play along. I’d like to think that once our books are in a healthier position then he’d look to sell us 🙏 Potential new owners need to know that they can come in and begin to make an impact with investment, we still have the royalties of being a premier league champion, large training ground and potentially at this point, an opportunity to put fresh plans into investing into the ground. I could be wrong and he could just not give a s**t and have any form of understanding or care which tbh wouldn’t surprise me at all

I understand what you’re saying but I think that is more of a reflection on the club more so than the player If we signed a player for cheap and he was poor then we’d likely be more accepting and less likely to call him one of our worst signings. Majority of the names that get branded through our history tend to be the ones that have came in with a price tag when we’ve had players just as bad forgotten about due to transfer fees

Last communication was payment will be made on 19th. Only late yesterday afternoon it was confirmed there will be no payment on 19th and will now be after Xmas. Agree if this had been discussed in advance then there is time and understanding to manage, unfortunately this has not been the case.

I think it’s poor practice for any company to change payment dates on something that has previously been agreed, and to do it such late notice no matter how big or small the company Top only made a PR statement a few weeks back about rebuilding and respect is apparently a big thing for him too, for him to do it is appalling. I think what makes it even worse, is the highest earners have no effect on this matter. It’s bad if it’s an across the board decision but to divide as to who is and isn’t getting paid on an agreed set date is a disgrace and shows no respect or empathy towards the staff especially considering the time of the year

That’s true but I’m saying this email has came from King Power Group Whether it’s Top or King Power, it’s only down to technicalities as to who they are saying is in charge - ultimately it’s the same people. It’s not as if Top has no affiliation to King Power 🤣

I’m not having that Skipp is the worst or top 5 worst signings we’ve made 🤣 Unfortunately he comes with the price tag, which is nothing to do with him. That’s on us and our poor control of finances, we all know he isn’t worth that amount of money but for some reason we decided to pay it, also at a time when money was tight He’s limited to what he can do but I think he makes an impact, he’s versatile and seems to have remained professional. There’s players in this current side who cant play, can’t run or quite simply CBA that I’d be pointing the finger at first for being labelled as a worst signing no matter how cheap or expensive of a signing they were 🤷‍♂️
