He’ll do alright in League 1
-
Do we know what way we’re playing!? 🤣
-
It was coming, hit your 9 and he puts it back on his team to give no outlet and then as a team they can’t clear lines. Just invites pressure and panic
-
30 seconds in, 2 shit back passes from Daka. Sound
-
People moaning about players being selected 🤣 Nobody wants to see them but it’s not like a new manager can also go and bring in a whole new team either. Just depends if he can get a tune out of them and find a system that makes us more difficult to play against
-
It’s a tough one, the easy option would be suggesting finding an already established local non league team no matter how high up the pyramid they are but you also want to connection to the club you grew up supporting and loving I don’t think we are there yet but I do believe if the club go under or if this continues then a supporters group team should be seriously considered that can carry the Leicester name and continue from traditions/history. United fans could have picked any non league team when they turned against the Glaziers but supporting FC United of Manchester holds a connection and deeper meaning I do think the Germans get this right how their clubs are ran, supporter backed teams stops situations that are happening to ourselves and within the English game. Clubs are built on communities and the connection to their supports, I love clubs like St Pauli that have deeper roots

We win every game and finish in play offs if we don’t go up this season it’s okay, we win the league next season as invincibles
-
Rodgers should of never been allowed to rip apart what was already a well organised model but we definitely put trust in the wrong man to do so Rodgers was correct at the time that it needed a refresh, unfortunately with us already spending way beyond our limits (likely to appease him), the quickest and cheapest option was Rodgers himself
-
Completely irresponsible by the club the way they have managed it these last 5 years. I understand and appreciate ambition but it has been careless. A lot wanting Rodgers sacked a lot earlier than what we did, did we hold fire due to PSR then? It’s cost us more than what it would have being in this position now if we’d of just acted when we needed too

Wondering what tweet we’ll get when we get relegated, will it be similar to the premier league last year when we didn’t even state we were relegated? “Leicester City has been elected to participate in the English League 1 for the 2026/27 season See you there foxes 🦊” Followed by a birthday tweet 🤣

How can anyone watch the video from OP and not become hugely concerned and angered in the direction and leadership of this club!? I’ve said for years we are going down the same route as Sunderland - mainly based around the high wages and deadwood at the club rinsing it dry but it’s evident the issues go deeper Nobody wanted KP out and I think even despite the first relegation (there were concerns) but everyone was still on board with KP. They said there would be internal investigations and we were lead to believe that lessons would be learnt and relevant changes would be made. We clearly didnt learn our lessons by overspending and as we know, nothing has come from the internal investigations. Arguably we are in a weaker position with Susan Whelan leaving the club. Players are still on high wages, we’ve recouped money (KDH sale) to then effectively waste it all again and have seen no respectable or adequate changes at the top to bring in what’s needed to understand our situation and to guide us back in the right direction. We won previous appeals and effectively ‘got away with it’ under Enzo getting promoted under 1 season. The whole thing feels like it’s ran by cowboys who have no understanding and putting everything down to chance - I think our luck is beginning to run out. Whether we stay up or not, I cannot see how this club moves forward under the current regime. We are in a huge mess with what seems to be no understanding of how to get out of it. It’s not 1 bad season, this is now 4-5 years of pure mismanagement. KP needs to be ran out of our club, people responsible at the top needs to be hounded out and players stealing a living pushing this club into debt need to be made aware they are no longer welcomed or wanted here. This isn’t just about putting in a good performance/result or putting a relegation survival on the CV, this is literally the future of the club. Clap along and say support the lads/frown on the ones booing players like Winks etc but there is serious concerns that this club will no longer be around in the next few years in the state that it is. Yes it’s going to be toxic and people aren’t going to like it, but I’d rather have a Leicester City to follow in a few years time than none at all.

We sold premier league players at a reduced amount the moment we dropped to Championship. If we go to League 1 that’ll be the exact same. It all comes down to clubs situation and negotiating skills. We’re in a mess desperate for money (likely needing to get him off our books due to wages if relegated), he won’t want to stay here and we’re shit at negotiating with these in charge. £20m tops we’ll get for him - Premier League we’re getting £40-50m
-
How and why will it be a hefty fee? If we get relegated, you’re negotiating with a League 1 side. If we stay up, our financial mess is known by everyone, well take what we can. I have little trust that the ones at the top are capable of negotiating a hefty fee
-
Think it’s cost more than that when you weigh up the relegations, players left and the financial mismanagement
-
Completely agree in regards to the players. I’ve said multiple times beyond just this season that nothing will change for whoever is in charge until this crop of players leave Potentially, 99% of the time pre season is planned months in advance and seem to follow a similar structure other than locations - were likely the 1% that had nothing sorted.
-
This is an argument I often have, just because they have played pro it doesn’t mean 1. That they’ll be a decent manager 2. Capable of managing a team/game Playing and management are completely different and takes years to build your craft
-
Players fitness and injury prevention/rehabilitation has been poor for years now
-
A lot are saying how poor our fitness is this season and lack of playing identity/understanding. It was King that was in charge over pre season when alot of the foundations are laid 🤷♂️
-
Isn’t the problem and unfortunately isn’t the solution either Put Pep, Mourinho etc in charge of these and they’ll struggle. Until some of this deadwood is gone nothing will change no matter who is in charge Recruitment is a huge concern at this club as I fear we’ll get it wrong even when some of these have finally moved on
-
Best time for potential investors
-
Sleep walking Honestly I don’t think people can see the problems before they become a problem The goes for people within the club too that are allowing the club to crumble before our eyes
-
I’ve been saying for a while we are literally the new Sunderland. Over-paid players not arsed about the club, wouldn’t surprise me to see a younger age group bullying the first team similar to the Netflix doc with Sunderland Without paying too much attention to Sunderland during their League 1 years, have they had changes at the club since? My concern is, with our current regime I still can’t see us turning things around even in League 1
-
Anyone that thought bringing King in was going to be the answer needs their head examining If he does get the job on a permanent basis I genuinely will hope he can turn things around and back him but our issues are deeper than a managerial change and feel this would only tarnish his legacy he has at the club
-
Football is a funny game We won the league on players that was effectively deemed not good enough by others clubs. I’m not saying that they were as unprofessional as some of these before they joined us but players make excuses - toxic club, didn’t get the best out of them, poor training, poor managers etc Unfortunately, for the right price alot of these will move on and still earn a decent wage somewhere else, it depends if there’s a reoccurring pattern with their behaviours in the environments or finding clubs stupid enough to bring them in (us in the past 4-5 years)
-
Not surprised and at this put not particularly bothered either. No excitement or trust that whoever the club pull in next will make any difference. Already stinks of a knee jerk reaction to yesterday rather than having plans in place There goes another transfer window and probably a week or so before we get someone in. Please dust of the ex Southampton manager folder as first choices 🙄
