Picking Hull was pointless, bowled 4 shit overs and didn't bat. Waste of a man. Would have been better off with one of the Greens. Alex in particular didn't deserve to be dropped. Jennings should have been run out before he got 100 and Harris dropped on 6 made 71. Holland got smacked everywhere. We just weren't good enough in the field but we did really well to make a game of it.

To be fair they've done absolutely incredibly after being 20-4. Would have been easy to be skittled for 100 and get off the park. De Swardt has been brilliant. Our best bowler by a mile in last two games and a brilliant knock today. Not sure Kelly coming back does us any good, we now lose a good bowler. Massive positive is Sheikh, two brilliant knocks in a row. Hopefully we take confidence from making a game of it.

Yet again win the toss and bowl on a perfect batting wicket. Will be chasing around 350 which will be very tall order. Probably thinking we've chased in the last two but this Lancs team are stronger than Gloucs and Surrey.

Play them all. Crowd will get behind them, they will give their all, play without fear. We look like we have a great crop of youngsters. Cardiff got promoted with a young side, there's no reason why we can't.

I'm thoroughly chilled, it's a friendly, bit the manner in which some of them play is infuriating. There's still some bad eggs and overpaid lazy shit to get rid of before the season starts. I don't want Souttar, Reid, Faes etc getting in the way of the academy lads who are giving their all.

Exactly. The only options for captain are Brook or Root really. Surely though they should be looking to the future and go with Brook and give him the Pakistan series to settle in.

Should give test captaincy to Brook and make Bethell vice captain, then give Sam Curran the t20 captaincy. That's what I'd do anyway.

Not for an opener, he played down the wrong line. He can't score a run this season he's been terrible, surely Gumbs should be playing someone for the future.
